New changes coming on 4th of June
The Clash Royale team has recently made an announcement about the game’s latest balance change that will go live on June 4. In a post that was published on Friday, Supercell revealed which of the troops will get nerfs and which will get buffs. On the post published on Reddit yesterday, they explained that the way they approach the card balance is based on the community feedback, stats and playtesting. And it looks like we can also expect monthly balance updates!
Let’s take a look below at every card that will be affected by these balance changes. We’ll talk about Mega Knight, Spear Goblins, Wizard and much more!
- Spear Goblins – Nerf and Buff
Attacks will occur every 1.7 seconds because the Hit Speed will be slower: 1.2 seconds. There’s going to be a damage increase of 34% added to the troops and the first attack will be slower than before.
- Royal Ghost – Nerf
The invisibility delay of this troop will be increased from 1.6 seconds to 1.2 seconds. Also, from now on towers will get one extra shot on him before he disappears.
- Goblin Hut – Nerf
Because each hit from a single Goblin will be stronger, the total number of spawns will be reduced from 12 to 10. The lifetime of the building will be shortened by 10 seconds, from 60 to 50 seconds.
- Barbarians – Buff
The Hit Speed of these troops will get a small increase from 1.5 seconds to 1.4 seconds.
- Mega Knight – Nerf and Buff
The Area Damage will see a reduction of 7.5% and the troop will get a Jump/Spawn Damage increase by 23%, so he will be able to land with great force once again. This guy is also going to use a new brand of mustache wax!
- Battle Ram – Nerf
They can now be knocked back by the Barbarian Barrel and The Log troops.
- Wizard – Buff
This new update brings an increase of 2% to the Area Damage, while the Area Damage radius will get an increase of 25%.
- Ice Golem – Nerf
One of the strongest defensive troops in the game will see a reduction of his Hitpoints by 5%.
- Valkyrie – Buff
She can now take a hit from most troops since her Hitpoints increased by 7% and her first attack got faster.
