SnapTube vs. TubeMate – Similar Features but Different Performances

SnapTube and TubeMate are two of the most popular apps in the Android community right now. The reason behind their popularity is that both apps give users the ability to download online videos and then to watch them while offline. However, both apps are equipped with similar features and this makes it difficult for people to choose between them. With that said, today we are going to compare SnapTube and TubeMate in order to find out which one does the job better.

SnapTube

One of the best things about SnapTube is the sleek UI (user interface) that it offers. The app is equipped with an intuitive UI which makes it easy for people to download all the online videos that they want. Moreover, SnapTube gives users the ability to choose the type of video format or quality they want to download which is great because users will be able to download lower the resolution of videos and save storage space.

TubeMate

Just like SnapTube, TubeMate is equipped with a user-friendly UI. Although, the feature which stands out the most about TubeMate is the fact that users can explore videos and all other types of content directly through the UI. Leaving the UI aside, what makes TubeMate special is the highly optimized download manager that it’s equipped with. TubeMate’s download manager uses multiple thread connections in order to boost average download speeds and it automatically sorts downloaded videos.

Verdict

Obviously, both apps are amazing since they offer similar features. However, SnapTube is the better choice for people who want an app that is easy to use while TubeMate is the ideal choice for people who love discovering new content. We should also mention that both apps are able to download videos at the same speed which reaches a peak of 200 MB/s.
