Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 Chipset Might Launch on December 4th
Although this chip succeeds the Snapdragon 845, it would be named Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150, according to various rumors. According to the very popular leaker, Ice Universe, who posted on Twitter, Qualcomm is planning to unveil this Snapdragon 8150 during the Qualcomm Technology Summit, in Hawaii, on December 4th.
Also, reportedly, the renowned chips manufacturer, Qualcomm, has already sent come invitations to the Chinese tech news portals and is preparing to do the same for the rest of the world, as soon as possible.
The upcoming Snapdragon 8150 will be manufactured in 7 nm FinFET technology by TSMC, precisely like the Huawei and Apple chipsets. It could embed an Octa-Core CPU only that it would boast a different configuration.
According to the rumors, this new Qualcomm chipset would replace Snapdragon 845, and it would become the processor to power the Android flagships of the next year, including the North American variant of the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10, among others. In reality, S10 might be the first 2019 smartphone to benefit from the new Snapdragon 8150.
