“Apple News is finally available in Canada after downloading iOS 12.2 beta,” stated Apple Pro on Twitter. Besides Apple Pro, many other beta testers confirmed that iOS 12.2 is going to make Apple News available in Canada.
Apple News rolled out in September 2015, along with iOS 9. Initially, it was only available across the United States. Now, according to the beta testers of the iOS 12.2 beta version, Apple News is coming to Canada, finally. However, we don’t know if the Cupertino-based company plans to launch its news app to other countries anytime soon.
The app draws its news from Atom and RSS feeds. Any outlet can submit their articles in case they comply with Apple’s formatting requirements.
