There are many reasons to why someone might want to jailbreak their iOS device, but getting access to special Cydia tweaks and apps is the most important one of them.

iOS 11.3.1 Electra Need More Time

Before we get into it, we need to disclaim the fact that the latest iOS 11.3.1 Electra jailbreak is still new and that it needs more time before it can run all tweaks and apps successfully. Therefore, some fan-favorite jailbreak tweaks will not work and we advise jailbreak fans to wait a little bit longer if any issues pop up so that the developers have enough time to optimize their software.

  • Luminous;
  • BrightVol;

All the apps and tweaks listed above have been tested on iOS 11.2 and iOS 11.3.1 with Electra jailbreak. This means that they all work function without any issues and that jailbreak fans will be able to benefit from all the features they have to bring.

On the downside of things, there are hundreds of tweaks and apps that still need to be optimized before they can run on iOS 11.3.1 Electra jailbreak. However, we can be sure that all other tweaks and apps are going to be made functional during the upcoming future. We should also mention that Apple is not currently signing iOS 11.3.1 and this implies some iPhone and iPad owner will be sent straight to iOS 11.4 if they chose to restore their device.

Jailbreaking iOS 11.3.1 / iOS 11.2: Here’s What You Should Do

This jailbreaking is meant for those who use Electra as a jailbreaking tool for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch.

It’s been a while now, and clients cannot wait anymore for the iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak to arrive. The team behind the Electra jailbreak have kept their word, and they’re releasing an updated version of this tool that will cover the devices with iOS 11.2 to iOS 11.3.1. This means lots of good news for those who waited so much time and remained with iOS 11.3.1 just to get this jailbreak.

We’re talking about a semi-untethered jailbreak. This means that every time your device restarts or loses power, you’ll have to quit the certificate to make your device jailbroken again. It’s always good to have a backup for everything on your device before doing the jailbreak. If this goes wrong, at least you’ll still have all of your stuff.

So, how are you doing it?

The first thing you need to do is to download the latest Electra jailbreak file. You can get it from the official website. Save it to your desktop. Then you’ll need to get Cydia Impactor. Now it’s time to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your PC. You can do this by connecting a Lightning cable. Open Cydia Impactor and put the Electra1131 IPA file onto it. Cydia Impactor will ask you to sign in with your Apple ID – do it, as it’s entirely safe. After this, Cydia will proceed to install the IPA file on your gadget.

After this, the brand new Electra jailbreak app will appear on your Home Screen. Don’t open it just yet. Go to the Settings, to General, to Profiles & Device Management. From there, tap on your Apple ID, then on the blue Trust button. After this, the certificate will become trusted, so you just need to put your iOS gadget in airplane mode, then open the Electra app. Then press the Jailbreak button and wait to for it to load. After it’s done, the Cydia icon will appear on the Home Screen. Get off airplane mode and make the most out of the jailbreak.

The Wait for the Electra Jailbreak for iOS 11.3.1 is Finally Over

These days, all iPhone and iPad users running the iOS 11.3.1 received a very good news. It looks like a jailbreak is on its way to support all iDevices with 64 bits. The jailbreak will be released by Electra, because they are the ones who have been working on this matter lately.

In case you are wondering when it will appear, all the information we have so far is that it will be released in a few days. The announcement was made by the Electra team on their social networks and all they are willing to share is that the jailbreak is completed and waiting to be launched.

Right after the iOS 11.1.2 was out, Coolstar said that they are done with releasing jailbreaks, but despite that we are happy to see that the old team is back in action. Even if you are anxious to see how the new jailbreak works, don’t rush into upgrading your iPhone or iPad. If they are run by iOS 11.2 – iOS 11.3.1 don’t take them to beta versions of iOS 11.4.1 or iOS 12 just for the sake of experiencing the new jailbreak.

The news caused a big fuss on social networks

Since previous jailbreaks are quite recent, nobody saw this one coming. The announcement was made by the Electra team on their social network and the message was as suggestive as it can be – ”Coming soon.” When you see this, you start wondering what they planned because no other information has been made public so far.

One thing’s for sure: all eyes will be on Electra team’s Twitter account and this is not surprising if we consider that fact that people already started to comment as soon as they saw the add about the new jailbreak. Keep your eyes on them if you want to be among the first who sees Electra team’s new release.
