There aren’t that many shooters which can replicate the fun experience of PUBG and this is what makes the mobile version of the game so popular.

PUBG Mobile 0.5.0 Update

Talking about the mobile version of PUBG, fans of the game should be happy to know that a major update is coming their way. The new update changes the app’s version number to 0.5.0 and it weighs in at 33.38MB.

Moreover, the update is targeted towards smartphones that run on Google’s latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, but it can also be installed on older devices that run on a minimum of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

New Miramar Map

Despite its small size, the new update comes with lots of new features including a new map called Miramar. This map is set in the desert and it comes with tons of new vehicles and weapons which players can find and use.

Quick Team Feature

One of the best features that PUBG has to offer is the ability to create teams and play with your friends. The PC version of PUBG allows players to send out invites and now, the mobile version is also receiving this feature as well. Players will now be able to enter a 6-digit code which will automatically place them on the same team with their friends.

Regions, Flags and Secret Stashes

The new update also introduces a feature named regions. Regions give players the possibility to choose their own region and flag. Things get even better than this because the developers have also introduced secret stashes alongside the new update and they feature special discounted items.
