TubeMate 3.1.3 Update with Software Improvements is Now Available

A new TubeMate update is now available and it changes the app’s version number to “3.1.3”. The update is currently available in APK format and it contains a bunch of software tweaks which help take the app’s performance to the next level. With that said, let’s check out what are the requirements for this new update and why TubeMate fans should hurry up and get it.

TubeMate 3.1.3 Update

The first thing we need to mention about this update is that it’s not focused on introducing new features and instead, the developers decided to improve the app’s overall performance through software tweaks and bug fixes.

Therefore, TubeMate fans who love downloading videos and don’t want to experience any interrupts should make sure to get their hands on this update. On the downside of things, the update is available in form of APK which means that it is exclusive to Android users. Although, the update will also be rolled out OTA (over the air) to the wide public during the upcoming weeks.

Android Package Kit (APK)

As previously mentioned, Android users are the only ones who get to install this latest update ahead of everyone else. APK stands for Android Package Kit and users are required to manually download and install this type of updates. Not just that, but users also need to enable the “Unknown Sources” feature which can be found in the “Settings” panel.

Requirements

The folks who are in charge of TubeMate know how important downloading online videos is to people and they want to limit their updates only to people who own high-end smartphones such as Samsung’s latest Galaxy S9 for example. Therefore, the only requirement for this new update is to own a smartphone that is running on Google’s Android 4.0.3 operating system or higher.
