Windows 10 Pro vs. Windows 10 Home – What Should You Choose?

If we were to analyze them from a performance point of view, then we would have to say the both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro offer pretty much the same level of excellence while handling your daily desktop needs. Both options represent Microsoft’s latest operating systems and they both represent very good options which a lot of features.

However, they didn’t name it Windows 10 Pro if it didn’t come with something extra, right? Here’s what the Pro comes with and you should use this information in contrast to what you found out about the Home operating system.

The first of the extra features of Windows 10 Pro is the Remote Desktop Connection. Starting an RDC session can be performed on either the Home or the Pro variant, so far there isn’t a difference. However, only the Windows 10 Pro offers the possibility of having remote control over your computer.

Those devices that use Windows 10 Home can only be remotely assisted. Then, the Windows 10 Pro comes with a greatly improved version of BitLocker, which is an extremely popular encryption software which helps tremendously with protecting your sensitive data against hackers.

Hyper-V is another extra feature which will make you fall in love with the Windows 10 Pro. Although not many people expressed eagerness to using such a feature, you should know that it represents a real benefit of virtualization.

If you plan to install a new operating system for your business computers, then you should know that the Pro variant let’s you postpone updates, while the Windows 10 Home doesn’t allow you this option. Then, Windows 10 Pro let’s you to create and join domains which will allow your business PC’s to be added to your corporate business network.
