Apple purchased the popular music recognition app Shazam making it easier for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users to find and enjoy the music they love. Once the acquisition is completed, the Shazam app would become ad-free for everyone to enjoy it without any disturbance.

Shazam helps users find their favorite songs by simply letting the app “listening” to the music surrounding them.
