WhatsApp Plus Update – Is it Safe to Download?

It is no news that communications costs are high and everybody wants to save up on them. This is when WhatsApp comes into the game as it helps us get in touch with the people we care for without paying too much.

Even though this is a free up available for downloading, it might seem to limit to some users. Sometimes this would result in them turning to apps like WhatsApp Plus which even though they say they would offer the same benefits, they also provide more. Some apps shave good intentions, but according to a Malwarebytes Labs report, WhatsApp Plus is not one of them as it fraudulently gathers user data.

How is WhatsApp Plus dangerous?

It is now time to explain to you why WhatsApp Plus is not safe for you to download. Even though it promises you to do more and better, it does not mean it is also safe for you.

Before explaining this, you should not forget that the Play Store does not feature this app. In other words, you need to install it using APK. The installation and download look just fine, but if you take a look at the internals, it is not all fun and games anymore.

After being installed, The WhatsApp Plus will show a golden WhatsApp logo. After that, it will ask for some permission, and if you give it to the app, you will be redirected to update a new version. After you get the latest version, you will be sent to a website which is written in Arabic,

The goal of this app is to gather all your personal details. Besides that, it can also collect information from the media based on what you receive and send.

Make sure you uninstall this app immediately and spread the word.
