Honor 10 Lite To Come Out With Kirin 710 and Android 9 Pie

Huawei’s brand, Honor, officially presented its new smartphone, the Honor 10 Lite. The mid-range device boasts a Kirin 710 processor and would come out with Android 9 Pie.

Also, the Honor 10 Lite has a large 6.2-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch at the top. This small notched design is increasingly becoming a trend in the mid-range segment, lately. Inside the notch, the Chinese manufacturer opted for a 24-megapixel selfies camera. On its back, Honor 10 Lite boasts a dual-camera system made of one 13-megapixel lens and a second sensor of 2 megapixels.

The primary cameras are powered by artificial intelligence technology similar to the one we’ve already witnessed this year on other devices, including some of the Huawei.

The Kirin 710 processor is backed up by either 4 GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on the variant, and by an internal storage space of up to 128 GB. You can also extend the internal memory up to 512 GB via microSD. Overall, it is an impressive mid-range device.

For some consumers, however, the battery might represent the most significant challenge. Accordingly, Honor 10 Lite boasts a 3,000-mAh accumulator which is not the most powerful one available at the device’s price level. As Honor 10 Lite boasts a 6.2-inch LCD screen, the handset could have troubles in keeping a full day’s autonomy due to its weak battery.

Luckily, Honor 10 Lite has some of the features based on AI such as the adaptive battery, and adaptive brightness that might help us save a lot of battery. On the other hand, the device is not boasting a USB-C port, but it is equipped with a 3.5-mm jack for headphones, a feature many modern smartphones ditched. Huawei did not disclose when the Honor 10 Lite will roll out to the American and European markets, but we expect that to happen pretty soon.
