Minecraft Pocket Edition Best Tips and Tricks

You’ve probably played Minecraft for a while now. It’s understandable if you want to learn new things to do in the game. We’ve written this article to give you some tips regarding this matter.

  1. Place torches on furnaces and tables. For this, you’ll need to handle a short process, but you can do it. Just make sure you have a transparent block placed behind the crafting table before you begin. If you see some solid blocks around the crafting furnace, then you need to get rid of them. If you don’t, then the torches will go towards them, instead of towards the top of the bench.
  2. Place block on the side of a torch. You can do that by hovering over the torch right until you see a grid box. You need to right-click on the side of the torch with a block in your hand and it will put the block on the side of it. This is quite good when it comes to helping crossing lava pools.
  3. Place torches under falling gravel and sand to break the gravel or the sand. This will happen as long as the gravel and sand fall two You need to hold a torch in your hand and then break the lowest sand block. As the sand block starts to break, put your torch under it as fast as you can.
  4. You can put as much weight as you want on a torch. This way, you can create a sandstone-free pyramid and many other designs.
  5. Put signs on the top of each other. You can also line them up for getting great details for your buildings. All the signs have grids, just like any other block in this game.
  6. Wooden slabs cannot be affected by the fire. They also have a stronger blast resistance than wooden planks. In case you’re playing on a server that has the fire-spread option enabled, then you don’t need to worry about this matter, your wooden slabs will not get caught by fire.
  7. Redstone travels through half-slabs. This is what allows you to hide them. You need to keep in mind that all red stones are connected, except for the full blocks placed on either end.
  8. Pressure plates will hold water and lava inside of them, and you won’t see any spilling out there.
  9. Also, ladders and signs can stop the water and the lava. This comes in handy especially if we’re talking about mob spawners and secret underwater rooms.
  10. The ice that’s put under the soul sand will let you walk slower than the soul sand. Keep in mind that the soul sand, in the game, is as a smaller block than the rest. This one is good for traps.
  11. Break boats and minecarts by using a bow and an arrow. This way, you’ll get the same drops as you would normally, if you’d break the boat in the standard way. When it comes to a minecart, you’ll get a minecart (yup, again). It’s the same as always.
