Honor 10 Lite Is An Attractive Entry-Level Smartphone

Honor announced its Honor 10 Lite a few days ago, and we can already offer you a small glimpse on it. The Chinese manufacturer’s entry-level smartphone has many advantages, being very attractive for its range. While Honor 10 was one of the most pleasant surprises of 2018, a few months later, the Chinese brand offers us a lighter version, namely the Honor 10 Lite.

The Honor 10 Lite relies heavily on its appearance as it’s boasting a shiny glass case and a curved design. We must admit that the Honor 10 Lite’s finishes are impeccable for a smartphone whose price should be between $200 and $300.

Honor 10 Lite Boasts A Large Screen With A Tiny Notch

Honor Lite 10 comes out with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 px). Not surprisingly, IPS technology does not display a contrast ratio comparable to that of an OLED screen, but the latter technology is costly. With nothing to complain about on regarding the resolution of the display, the Honor 10 Lite benefits from a display sufficiently perfected for everyday use.

One of the most common problems with entry-level and mid-range smartphones is the photo-video section. On its back, the Honor 10 Lite features a dual-camera setup that does not promise exceptional results. A second 2MP sensor supports a 13MP sensor with a f/1.8 aperture. At the front, Honor 10 Lite boasts a 24-MP selfies camera.

Honor 10 Lite Comes With A Kirin 710 SoC and 6 GB of RAM

Under the hood, the Honor 10 Lite model presents a Kirin 710 SoC, a chipset that relies on eight cores (4 x Cortex-A73 at 2.2 Hz and 4 x Cortex-A53 at 1.7 GHz) and a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. We have already witnessed this SoC on the new Huawei P Smart Plus, and its performance was quite respectable.

Also, Honor 10 Lite would be available in versions in 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage variants. Additionally, Honor 10 Lite is powered by a 3,400-mAh battery which should ensure a satisfactory autonomy, at least on paper. The smartphone will launch with Android 9.0 Pie

For the moment, Honor has not announced a release date for the Honor 10 Lite model, but we should expect it to come out at around $250.
