Motorola P40 Leaks Revealed Hole-Punch Camera And Android One

This year, Motorola P30 launched in China. The device was like a combination of iPhone X and Huawei P20. Now, Lenovo is already working on P30 successor, the Motorola P40, and some recent leaks revealed a hole-punch camera and Android One branding.

Also, it seems like Lenovo’s Motorola brand is following the tradition set by P30 since the upcoming Motorola P40 looks like another Huawei smartphone, the Honor View 20 which rolled out just a couple of days ago.

Motorola P40 Boasts Hole-Punch Camera And Dual-Camera Setup

Like the before-mentioned Honor View 20, Motorola P40 boasts a 6.2-inch display with almost no bezels and a hole-punch camera at the top-left corner. Also, the upcoming Motorola device will possess a dual-camera setup on the back with one of which it seems to be a 48-megapixel sensor. Besides, Motorola P40 boasts a 3.5-mm headphone jack and USB-C port.

Android One Will Power Motorola P40

Besides the new design of the upcoming Lenovo smartphone, the new Motorola P40 leaks also revealed that the device would boast Android One which is the stock version of Android. It could be possible that Motorola P40 will come out with the stock version of Android 9 Pie, even though nothing pointed out to that.

Motorola P40 Release Date And Price

While there’s no word on when the device will come out or how much it would cost, we already know that the upcoming Motorola P40 will launch in 2019, and it would roll out outside of China, as well, which is a better decision from Lenovo since the predecessor, Motorola P30, launched only in China.

Nonetheless, given that the Motorola P30 rolled out at a price of around $300, we expect that Motorola P40 will also come out in the same price range, which would be ideal for a mid-range device.
