Initially, some rumors said that the Chinese New Year event in Fortnite would roll out for every player in the world, regardless of where he/she resides, but a recent report coming from FortniteBR states that’s not the case and that the Fortnite’s Chinese New Year event would be available only across China.
“So, we looked into the Chinese New Year event with Triggyrd that has been reported by some outlets, and we found some stuff. Firstly, sorry to disappoint, but this event is most likely limited to Chinese players only,” said the guys from Fortnite News (FortniteBR) on Twitter.

The Fortnite’s Chinese New Year event would come out for the Chinese players of the most popular Battle Royale title with lots of bonuses and new content, as well as with real-life collectibles besides the in-game ones.
