iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 Jailbreak is Now Available with New Improvements

Despite Apple’s best efforts to stop anymore iOS jailbreak tools from coming out, the Unc0ver team has still managed to release a jailbreak tool for iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 powered devices. The tool is now available for all pre-A12 CPU devices which means that it can be used to jailbreak the following devices: iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPod Touch 6G, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, and iPad Mini Air. This is great news because the Unc0ver tool was previously available only for devices that are fueled by the A8X and A11 CPUs.

The great thing about this new jailbreak tool from the Unc0ver tool is the fact that it shows that the jailbreak community is here to stay. Apple is doing all in its power to stop developers from using kernel exploits in order to create jailbreak tools, but from the looks of it, Apple is never going to stop the Unc0ver team.

Cydia and Substrate

Since we are talking about the new Unc0ver tool for iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 that has now been made available for pre-A12 devices, we need to mention that it introduces Cydia and Substrate. These are two of the most essential features that jailbroken devices benefit from and the folks at the Unc0ver team have made sure to integrate them into their new tool.

In addition, the tool’s support for Cydia and Substrate reveals that the new tool from Unc0ver is stable and that it can be used by iOS fans in order to download apps which are not available on the iOS store. This is all that jailbreaking devices is about! Being able to do whatever you want with an iPhone or iPad without having to worry about Apple’s restrictions.
