AMD Radeon RX 7nm Navi GPU Performance Benchmarks Get Leaked

This year is going to be a great one when it comes to graphics cards. Intel has announced that its plans for 2019 are to innovate the GPU market with its Odyssey project. Not only that, but NVIDIA has also started selling both RTX-enabled and non-RTX versions of Turing while AMD is currently adding the finishing touches to a new GPU architecture known as “Navi”.

Even though these hardware manufacturers don’t want to reveal too much information about their upcoming smartphones, we got lucky and the benchmarks for AMD Radeon’s RX 7nm Navi have been leaked.

AMD Radeon RX 7nm Navi

For those who haven’t been following the latest developments in the tech industry, then all they should know about Navi is that this GPU is the successor to Vega. Furthermore, Navi is being built on a 7nm (nanometer) manufacturing process, just like the newly launched Radeon VII.

As previously mentioned, AMD doesn’t want to give out too much details about Navi. The only thing that AMD announced is that Navi is indeed being developed right now and that it will arrive in the upcoming future. Fortunately, a Reddit user has managed to spot the new hardware on CompuBench.

CompuBench Leak

The Reddit user found a CompuBench entry that is labeled as “AMD 66AF:F1” which is believed to be Navi. If this leak proves to be true, then this means that Navi features 20 Compute Units (CUs) and they will work out to 128 Stream Processors (SPs).

Moreover, the performances of Navi are onscreen: 6258 (97.3 Fps) and offscreen: 23662 Frames (368.0 Fps) in the Aztec Ruins Normal Tier. Navi was also put in the Aztec Ruins High Tier Test and where it had the following results onscreen: 11381 Frames (177.0 Fps) and offscreen: 9147 Frames (142.3 Fps).
