Spotted by SamMobile, the security update was supposed to bring many improvements. However, they saw that “Samsung has pulled the March update for the Galaxy S10 trio,” and nobody knows why. They believe that there might be a bug, concluding that “hopefully a fixed update will come out soon for those who have already installed the original update.”

So far, users that already got the firmware before being pulled didn’t report issues or see improvements on the battery.

The March security update for the Galaxy S10 should bring future enhancements:

  • Wireless PowerShare will be improved to wirelessly charge other devices with the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, or Galaxy S10+.
  • Camera stability gets improved
  • March security patch added
  • Bug fixes
  • Device stability improvements
  • New and / or enhanced features
  • Further improvements to performance

The software version of this update when it rolled out to European markets (Germany and UK) were for S10e – G970FXXU1ASC8, for S10 – G973FXXU1ASC8, and for S10+ – G975FXXU1ASC8.

If you want to check for the S10 March update and see if it rolled back up, go to your phone’s Settings, tap on Software Update and tap on Download updates manually.
