Castle Burn Best Tips and Tricks for the Strongest Warriors

Castle Burn is a new game that really delivers a punch on the strategy mobile gaming market. It is a fast-paced game that takes just a few minutes to understand how to play, but takes a long time to master. Here are a few pieces of advice that will make you a better player:

Unit placement can have a serious impact on your results. Figure out which opponents have a splash attack and spread out your units, or group them all together for maximum damage when dealing with a single-target-hitting opponent.

If dealing with a Hammer Warrior, summon a cheap unit between your strong unit and your opponent. This might kill your recently-summoned unit, but it cancels the damage your strongest warriors might have taken instead.

Calling back your troops and retreating can be very handy. If a unit gets back to the castle, it gets 70% back from its mana cost. There’s a catch, though – the cool-down time for this is 20 seconds.

If you’re dealing with a slow opponent, you can confuse him by pushing “retreat” and the “retreat cancel” for a few times.

Because unit weight matters in this game, you can use heavier units to block the paths of skinny ones in case they want to retreat.

Demon Blood, combined with Goblins and a hero who has great skill in hand-to-hand combat is a great choice. Attacking the enemy base with this formation from the beginning of the game can lead to a tactical advantage.

If you activate four Tier-1 cards from the beginning of the game, you can activate the Tier-3 upgrade as soon as one Tier-2 upgrade is finished. This can give you Dragon and Griffin Rider units as soon as 110 seconds after the start of the battle.

Kill without attacking

Another trick is playing defense all throughout the game. If you set Goblin Tanks, Catapults and Rocketeers around your base, when both castles will start to burn late in the game, when a time limit is reached. When that happens, simply repair it with Elixir of Grace and the help of Lana, while the opponent’s castle gets destroyed. This way, you can win the game without attacking even once.

Activating two cards, one called “Tactical Airship” and another, “Assault Rhino”, can surprise your opponent. When enough mana is stored, deliver the airship towards the opponent’s castle. Dropping the Rhinos right next to the castle will bring it to destruction immediately.

If you only activate spell cards in all of your slots, you can just cast spells and see your opponent’s castle start to crumble. Now that’s a magic hand!

In order to win using Beatdown decks, patience is key. It’s imperative that, from the start of the game, you trade elixirs and get more elixir than your opponents. In case this is impossible, surviving will have to do.

The Golem Beatdown deck is best used with the Mega Minion for taking out tanks, while for fending off weak attacks you can use the Lumberjack. Placing the Elixir Collector in a good spot helps keep your elixir levels up.

When the double-elixir part of the game starts, the deck really shines. The Golem is the most important part of the deck and should be supported by other units after playing it near the King tower.

If you use the Golem for finishing off your opponent, you should win the game.

Spell Bait can easily break other players’ defense

This deck is one that can really stress the other players’ defenses. If you can bait your opponents to use their most powerful attacks, you can then use the Goblin Gang and Goblin Barrel to finish off the tower.

Inferno Tower and the Knight can be used to destroy a counter attack, but don’t use your Rocket unless you want to guarantee your win.

Make your own deck and innovate

If you want to really confuse other players, think your own way through the available archetypes and develop your own deck. Either way, there are many ways for you to use your favorite cards within the game.

The Samsung Foldable Phone Might be Back – But with a Flip

The phone with a foldable screen might be just around the corner, with one designer publishing a 3D concept of the possible Samsung Galaxy X.

The phone will be more like a phablet, with a huge foldable screen, but thanks to its foldable design, the device will be almost as pocketable as a regular smartphone. This might mean the best of the both worlds – great screen for watching all your favorite media, but a small enough size to store while on the go.

The way the designer pictured it, the hinge makes the device look more like a wallet that you fold, rather than an object that can be folded completely flat. But nonetheless, this device looks like something many people would love having in their pockets and brag with.

Existing alternatives until the launch of the Galaxy X

During the past few years, producers have been struggling to offer more screen-to-body ratio and this might just be the solution. For instance, last year, Apple was one of the mobile phone producers who made the all-screen front, with only a small notch at the very top. Some producers copied the design, with Huawei being one of the leaders of the all-screen front mobile designs.

In 2018, however, makers like Vivo made the notch-less all-screen phone with a retractable camera that just pops out of the top of the device when you need it. But those moving parts, although innovative, will probably make the phone more prone to breaking down over time.

So this design, with a foldable screen, might just be the winner when it comes to having a phone that you can stuff in your pocket, but still have more than 6” of screen when you want to do some gaming or watch YouTube videos. Unfortunately, the concept would require bendable OLED screens, which are hard to come by, at least for now.
