Shenmue 4 Leaks – What We Know So Far?

After Shenmue 3 managed to score the most successful Kickstarter campaign in gaming history, Yu Suzuki announced that, if this title is going to do well on the market, the company might be thinking on creating the next sequel of the series, Shenmue 4.

The third title in the Shenmue video game series hasn’t even made an appearance on the market, and Suzuki is already planning the next one. Fans of the Shenmue series are thrilled now more than ever, with the third version of the game coming out in just a few months.

Some time ago, Suzuki declared that he believes Ryo’s story will require a great amount of work and dedication to be complete. Even now, the plot is only 40% complete.

VGC interviewed Suzuki about future plans for the series. When asked about a future Shenmue 4 Suzuki made some interesting statements. First, he said that, in his vision, the fourth chapter depends on two factors, which are the response of the public to Shenmue 3 and the team’s ability to create partnerships.

A good market for Shenmue 3 will make things clear for the developers and will make the development of the next sequel much more realistic.

Suzuki added that the future of the series also depends on the kind of partners the company will acquire along the way. He said: “If Shenmue 3 will sell well – he said – this will make things easier [with Shenmue 4]. But I think it will depend more on what kind of partner we will be able to guarantee.”

Of course, the release of the fourth chapter of Shenmue is still hypothetical. Until we have more clear information, we should focus on the release of Shenmue 3, which will launch on PC and PS4 in the fall, on November 19th.

Diablo 3 Season 18 Start Date – New Rewards and Improvements

PS4 and Xbox One users will get a new season of Diablo 3. Season 18 will also be coming to PC and Nintendo Switch. The next D3 event from Blizzard will see players receive various rewards and Legendary item updates for the new season.

Season 18 + Rewards Launch

Blizzard has announced that Season of the Triune will start on the 23rd of August but not all platforms will have access to the new season at the same time. In an unexpected twist of events, PC users will access the new season first, with console users having to wait a bit. Usually, gaming content comes to PC after the console players are nice and happy.

The new rewards will be available for PC players first on the 23rd of August ant 5 PM. The devs have coordinated the launch so that users across the planet will have access at the same local time. So, if you run the game on PC, the new rewards will launch at 5 PM, your local time.

Blizzard have put Europe last on the list to get access to season 18 as the event for the UK launch will take place in the UK at 1 AM, on the 24th of August. The rest of the world will have access to the game on the 23rd of August at 5 PM Pacific Time.

3 months to play the season

There is no rush to complete everything in season 18 of Diablo 3 because it will run for a few months. Plenty of time to get those side quests solved. Blizzard have commented on the duration of the season:

“We are no longer providing anticipated end dates for Seasons. However, we are committed to keeping Seasons roughly three months in length (give or take a few weeks based on development needs) and will continue to provide a minimum of two weeks advance notice for when the Season will be ending.”

Class set rewards

The successful completion of Chapters 2 through 4 will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. Class sets are contained in each of the gifts. A class set can be unlocked once per season by opening a gift. So, have a think about what you want to rock in Diablo 3. Here are the sets from Haefrig’s Gifts in season 18.

Capcom working on Resident Evil 8 for next-gen consoles

Console users from both Playstation and Xbox might get a sneak peek at some new games. Everybody is wondering what titles will appear on next year’s launch for the two consoles. With some games being rumored or actually confirmed to delay or accelerate their development to coincide with the late 2020 launch of the consoles.

Resident Evil 8 and next-gen consoles

Capcom might just be developing one such game for next year. It’s the next installment in the Resident Evil series that currently has 7 games in total. Resident Evil 8 may see a joint launch with the Xbox Scarlett and the PS5.

Call to action for Resident Evil Ambassadors

The evidence for this move comes from a letter to Resident Evil ambassadors in the US and Japan. The letter basically greets the game ambassador and thanks to them for their continued support of the franchise. It then continues to call out for game testers from the Resident Evil ambassador community. What a nice job that must be…

The new Resident Evil game will have testing phases that will probably be held on a closed-circuit system for the time being. But there may be community test events sooner or later. The sessions have been confirmed to take place in New York and LA next month, in September. No word on Europe sessions so far.

What to expect with Resident Evil 8?

The game will probably have a cross-platform launch, seeing that it’s in the early stages of development. Microsoft and Sony will have backward compatibility on all their consoles, so games that are made for the next-gen toys will work on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Expect more information on the progress of Resident Evil 8 after the first couple of test events in late September. The next-gen platforms will probably come in late 2020, around the holiday season. So if the game is being developed for a joint launch, you can expect to play it around that time as well.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo Gets Android Pie With New Features and Specs

The Galaxy J7 was released in the first part of 2018, mainly for the Indian market. The phone will get last year’s OS from Android, which takes the form of Pie 9.0. The version number for the firmware is J720FDDU4BSG7 and 1.3 GB of free space is required for download and installation.

Galaxy J7 Duo specs

The phone has a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display and an Exynos 7885 Octa-core processor. A Mali G71 GPU allows the device to have good performance when it comes to graphics.

The J7 Duo is further equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32 GB storage space but it does have a micros SD slot with a max value of 256 GB.

There is a rear-mounted double camera on the phone with 13 MP and a 5 MP sensor. The front-facing camera has a single 8 MP sensor to its name.

When it was launched, the J7 Duo came with Android 8.0 Oreo as standard. The phone was behind on the latest operating system when it was launched and still is. Although receiving the 9th version of Android Software, Google is almost finishing up the 10th version.

When to expect Android Pie 9.0?

The phone specifications should not require the latest Android OS, however. As Android 9.0 is more than enough to provide a quality user experience for J7 Duo owners. The software update is expected to slowly roll out in the next couple of months but there is no official release date offered by Samsung.

Expect a slower update as not all devices will receive it at once. These upgrades usually happen gradually by offering the software to phones belonging to a batch number. No matter your batch number, or your location, you can try to see if the update is available in your settings and manually install it.
