However, buyers who want the high-end model will get $300 more out of their pockets for a drone that will be able to handle higher frame rates and 10-bit color thanks to its bigger 20-megapixel sensor along with a faster image processor.

OsistaLV’s recent tweet reports leaked details of the two versions of Mavic Pro 2. The high-end model will offer its buyer a bigger 1-inch sensor along a with the basic model that has a Sony IMX226 CMOS 1/1.7 sensor. Autel is supposedly working on a rival to the Mavic Pro 2 according to the same tweet. It will be inferior anyway because of its different sized sensor.

DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone has another key feature, the addition of Six Sided Obstacle Avoidance. The Mavic Air already has a strong sensor system, but the Mavic Pro 2 will reportedly include cameras on the front, bottom, and rear too, being robust and more reliable.
