Google to Release 2 Brand New Phones Called Sargo and Bonito With New Features

There are many Android smartphones out there that are ready to hit the market soon. Among all of these devices, there’s also Google Pixel 3 XL, OnePlus 6T and Samsung Galaxy S10. The competition is way high right now. We see bigger displays everywhere and smaller bezels, with built-in cameras, inside notches, or sometimes even no notches at all.

The release date

As per GottaBeMobile, Google works on a fresh-out-of-the-box Pixel phones, probably for next year. We think they might be Google Pixel 4 XL (a bigger version) and Google Pixel 4. We expect them to be released from 8 to 10 months from now. There are many rumors out there, on the internet about a possible release date.

They have codenames for the devices

The company has recently started to use codenames for these two unreleased devices, starting with the latest ARCore updates. It seems that the names were meant for a launch from later, in early 2019. The first one of the devices is probably going to be Google Pixel 4 or Pixel 3 Lite, or, to be honest, another product that has the “Sargo” codename. This codename has to do with the company’s fish-based convention internally – that’s right, we’re talking about a big white fish.

The second device is believed to be called “Bonito”, and it’s from a mid-range category Google Pixel 4 XL. It was first leaked the this Snapdragon 710-powered phone. These two devices, for those who are not in theme with the topic, are called “Blueline” (Google Pixel 3) and “Crosshatch” (Pixel 3 XL). And the original one was called Sailfish and Marlin.

It’s true, the company is new in the industry, but they have made big improvements with their current phones, with perfect battery life, enough storage for everyone, the performance is outstanding, and it has a camera with AI features.
