The source states that the devices which received the security update have a more enhanced picture-in-picture feature. It’s not surprising since the mode came with the Android 8.0 update.
The picture-in-picture mode allows people to perform multiple tasks on their device at the same time: watch videos and use the screen for other apps as well. In addition, the update stabilizes a part of Pixel handset’s notification capabilities.
