Red Dead Redemption 2 New Gameplay Details For PC

After an extended period of waiting, you can now see again the silhouette of the hat-wearing cowboy of Red Dead Redemption 2, and it is better than ever.

Now, get your cowboy boots and hat on, get on your horse and slowly gallop to the information we have gathered for you in one place so your waiting experience will be at least 1 percent pleasurable.

Below you can see the list of the details we know about the Red Dead Redemption 2.

When Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released?

If you have an Xbox One or a PS4, you will be able to get Red Dead Redemption 2 starting on 26th of October. Because Rockstar, the game’s developer needed more time to create the game, it was not released this Spring as announced.

The gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2

From the six minutes of the gameplay trial, we saw Arthur Marston get into fistfights, play poker minigames, hunt, and groom his horse. You can also see the cowboy’s firepower and gunplay along with the Dead Eye targeting system which comes back with Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC

We do not know if Red Dead Redemption 2 will come in a PC variant, but one of its developers listed one on their LinkedIn profile but it was removed.

The company’s fame debuted when they released GTA V close to the ending of the console generation. Red Dead Redemption 2 comes at the same time with the rumors, and maybe we will get a PC version later this year.

Now as the details were described, you can get off your horse and begin waiting for some other two months. Red Dead Redemption 2 has even more surprises.

Top 3 Most Similar Games to Red Dead Redemption 2

If you are a gamer who loves adventure and action, Red Dead Redemption 2 by Rockstar Games is the best for you. It is a western-themed game, with a unique gameplay, and an engrossing story. As minimalist as it sounds, it is one of the most adored games of this generation.

Because Red Dead Redemption fans have a longer time to wait until the second version is released, they need some other games to keep them occupied, right? We provide them and you with a top 3 most similar games to Red Dead Redemption so you will not be under the control of the boredness.

Gun

Gun is a game which was released in 2005. It is set in the year 1880 in the American Old West, and its narrative is based on real gangs, stories, and figures from that time. The game’s main character is Colton Cole White, and he battles with an onslaught of bandits, killers, and power-mad cowboy as the protector of the whole city.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Before Red Dead Redemption was released, Call of Juarez kept the genre of western shooter games alive. The game rotates around Silas Greaves, a legendary old bounty hunter, and his story. You can live his adventures, participate in gunslinger duels and many more.

Grand Theft Auto V

Due to the fact that both Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption were developed by Rockstar Games, they are compared most of the time, and the comparisons are justified indeed. Both games have the same Rockstar staples when it comes to story elements and gameplay even though one is set in the fictitious, modern world of Los Santos and the other one is based in the Old West.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date in October 26, 2018

The official launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 is drawing nearer as we speak. Rockstar Games continues to announce more and more items and purchase options. The latest among these is the Collector’s Box which includes an array of exclusive physical items but it doesn’t include an actual copy of the game, sadly.

Pleasing the fans

Of course, this Collector’s Box is meant to please fans who waited fervently for the Red Dead Redemption 2 for almost ten years. If you are curious about its contents, then you should know that the Collector’s Box comes with collectible items which are inspired and designed by the gameplay, story and theme of the Red Dead Redemption sequel.

Because the Wild West involved a lot of coin tosses in making certain decisions, it is only natural that the Collector’s Box would include a Challenge Coin which features the American Buffalo and a scenic landscape on either of its sides.

What else can you find?

If you are looking to play something a bit more relaxing, then you should know that this Box also comes with a double-sided jigsaw puzzle which has 100 pieces that, once completed, shows the image of the Saint-Denis port and, of course, the Rockstar Games logo.

Because they want you to look like a proper outlaw, the video game company also included the Six Shooter Bandana which has been specially designed and included in the Collector’s Box. Last but not least, this fan package also includes a treasure map, which will make you feel that Wild West vibe and it appears to be unrippable and durable as well.

Because Arthur Morgan’s gang loves to play cards, the Collector’s Box will come with a deck of specially designed cards, with designs inspired by the Van der Linde gang members.

A New Red Dead Redemption 2 Weapon has Been Found in GTA 5 Online

Even though we will still have to wait a few more months to be able to play Red Dead Redemption 2, some of its items have been made available through another game by Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto 5. One year ago, the game’s developer made an announcement regarding a crossover mission in GTA Online that allows players to unlock a weapon for the upcoming title and now something similar has been discovered in a code of GTA 5.

Gain a new weapon through a treasure hunt

A second Red Dead Redemption 2 weapon has been uncovered by Guru Team, which also unveiled the first tie-in mission in GTA Online. The item found through data mining is a stone hatchet, which can be earned by visiting five different places on the map and eliminating a target. Once you have been to all five locations, you will need to go to a sixth area, where your award will be waiting for you. The newly acquired weapon can be used to unlock the stone hatchet in RDR 2 for PS4 and Xbox One, as long as you can complete some special challenges.

The second crossover mission is yet to be announced

The new weapon is not available in GTA Online at the moment, even though it can be found in the code of the game. We still do not know when the stone hatchet will become available, as Rockstar has not announced this new crossover mission yet. However, since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 is scheduled for October 26, we should soon get some info from the creators of the game.

The first crossover mission was announced in December of last year. Once it is completed, a double-action revolver will become available for use in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Comes with Timed Exclusive Content and New Changes

The special editions for Red Dead Redemption 2 were announced yesterday by Rockstar and it looks like that’s not all. The company also revealed that the game will get some time exclusives on PlayStation 4. Now, we all know that timed exclusivity has been one of the most unpleasant trends in the video game industry. This is what happens when a console manufacturer decides to pay a certain amount of money to a publisher, just in order to not allow content from other platforms to be available for a specific period of time.

Unfortunately, it seems that Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be part of this as well. So far, there have been no details about what exactly this timed exclusive content will involve, but it’s definitely going to be quite irritating for Xbox players.

The reason why timed exclusive content is one of the most infuriating trends in gaming is basically because people pay the same money for a game, but the content they get depends on the platform they’re going to play the game on. And that’s totally crazy.

We all know what happened when Sony had an arrangement with Destiny. The developer of the PlayStation 4 paid Activision to keep all kinds of things away from Xbox gamers, such as maps, guns and even full strikes. Then Sony did the same with Destiny 2 and quite a few Call of Duty games. Destiny usually has a habit of holding a lot of content back from Xbox players. But not only Sony. Microsoft has done exactly the same for Dragon Age: Inquisition and some other games, including Call of Duty.

Much to our disappointment, it looks like Rockstar decided to follow in both Sony and Microsoft’s footsteps.
