Unc0ver 3.0.0 Jailbreak for iOS Available with Enhanced Efficiency

Succeeding the launch of over five dozen beta version releases, the Pwn20wned team has announced the official stable release of the Unc0ver 3.0 jailbreak for iOS 11 – 12 1.2.

The Unc0ver jailbreak is backing all pre-A12 devices, which includes the iPhone 5s, the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPod touch 6G, iPad mini 2, 3, 4 and iPad Air.

The production release is apparently more stable and with fewer bugs than the initial beta unveils of Unc0ver jailbreak. Even so, this Unc0ver jailbreak version supports only non-A12 (X) Bionic devices such as the iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone 6 and so on. Once there is proper Cydia Substrate or Substitute support for it, the jailbreak tool will be updated to tot up support for A12 Bionic devices like the iPhone XS and iPhone XR.

What is new:

–  Clean up

–  Update jailbreak-resources to enhance the efficiency and fix a main memory leak

–  Display the bytes written to the kernel memory in the status message

–  Fix the icon cache problem in RootFS Restore (e.g. Cydia remaining on the home screen after restoring the root filesystem)

If you are already having a newer built of Unc0ver jailbreak on your iPhone or iPad, you can just stick to it. But if you re running an older built on your device though, you should better update to the new production release because of all the fixes and stability improvements it brings along.

You can update the latest update of Unc0ver jailbreak by simply updating the application through Impactor or Reprovision and then re-jailbreaking again your smartphone. To have the best jailbreaking acquaitance possible, check out the list of the best jailbreak tweaks and Cydia sources.

Support for support for A12-A12X devices is however still awaiting for a working Substrate or Substitute.
