PUBG Mobile 0.5.0 Update Available – New Miramar Map andQuick Team Feature

PUBG is the game that introduced the 100-man Battle Royale into the mainstream. The game was originally available on PC, but now it has arrived to smartphones as well. PUBG Mobile is available for free on Google Play Store and surprisingly, it features incredible graphics just like it does on PC. Although, the best thing about PUBG Mobile is that it features amazing gun play.

PUBG Mobile 0.5.0 Update

The latest update for PUBG Mobile sports the “0.5.0” version number and it introduces lots of new features, including a new map called Miramar. The update weighs in at 33MB and it requires a minimum of Android 4.3 operating system. With that being said, let’s check out what the new update contains.

New Miramar Map

As previously mentioned, the latest update for PUBG Mobile introduce a brand-new map. The map is called Miramar and it comes with a bunch of new vehicles and weapons that players can use. In addition, the map’s theme is the arid desert which gives it a cool exotic look.

Quick Team Feature

PUBG Mobile is a game that’s meant to be played with friends. Therefore, the developers are looking to introduce new features which help people get in parties with their friends faster than usually. The new update comes with a “quick team” feature which requires players to type in a 6-digit code in order to be placed with the friends that are sitting next to them.

Regions, Flags and Secret Stashes

Another cool feature that is being added via the new update is regions. PUBG Mobile players will be able to conquer a region and then place their flag on it. This feature is directed towards players who play in teams with their friends. In addition, players will be able to find secret stashes stored all over the new Miramar map.
