5G-Compatible Smartphones To Come In Early-2019 From AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint

Everyone wants a fast and performant smartphone. Besides, as more and more devices are interconnected, such as mobiles, smartwatches, bracelets, cars, and so on, the speed of the mobile data connection becomes significant and makes the difference. This requires greater stability of connectivity. Accordingly, 5G is the next generation of mobile data connection.

Similar to 4G or 3G, 5G is a wireless connection designed to keep a large number of devices connected without slowing down their operation. With this network, you can have many devices connected.

This technology has already arrived, and the first phones with this new network will be on sale as soon as 2019. The telecommunications company AT&T said on Tuesday that it would launch its first 5G phone in the first half of 2019. Reportedly, it would be a Samsung device, maybe Samsung Galaxy S10, although no official statement in this regard has been provided.

Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint have also reported that they would launch 5G-compatible smartphones in early-2019.

However, for the time being, not every smartphone user would need the 5G mobile network in their day to day tasks. This new network will offer faster speeds when surfing the Internet and better connectivity, but for now, we won’t need so much data on our devices.

In addition to that, 5G will be limited to a few countries when it would roll out in 2019, so most people will not have access to this next-generation network. For this reason, companies such as Apple have confirmed that they will wait until 2020 to release devices compatible with the 5G connection.

The 5G would also be present in the internet connection at home, making us forget about cable connections without worrying about lower Internet speeds.
