Honor View 20 Is Official With A 48-MP Camera And A Punch Hole Display

The Honor View 20 has just been launched by Huawei and comes to hit the shelves with a revolutionary display design. The new smartphone would boast a punch hole display instead of a notch and a powerful 48-megapixel camera. Honor is one of the most important brands of 2018, and they didn’t want to say goodbye to this year without introducing a new member of the family.

A Kirin 980 SoC Would Power The Recently Revealed Honor View 20

The new Honor View 20 seeks to set a new standard of all-screen Full Image 3.0 design by leaving the notch aside, as something old-fashioned, and resorting to a small hole in the top-left corner of the front of the smartphone to house the selfies camera. The punch hole design is just a tiny step, also adopted by Samsung Galaxy A8s, towards the screen without any hole or notch.

The newly introduced device comes to the Kirin 980, a Huawei-made processor that promises exceptional performance while establishing itself in the high-end segment of the smartphones industry.

Honor View 20 Boasts A 48-MP Main Camera and A 25-MP Selfies Camera

All other technical specifications of Honor View 20 remain, for the moment, a real mystery. The representatives of Honor have not unveiled the RAM and internal storage for their new model. What they did show is the main camera which has 48 megapixels and the Honor View 20’s selfies camera that boasts 25 megapixels.

However, we know a little more about the main camera. It only uses a half inch Sony IMX586 CMOS sensor and, apparently, the main camera uses a pixel fusing technology that would give this sensor and ample flexibility in both good and bad lighting conditions.

The 48-megapixel main camera is also supported by the artificial intelligence of the Kirin 980 processor with support for HDR, as well, among other features.
