Xbox Two: Everything You Should Know About The Upcoming Microsoft Console

The Xbox One is an iconic console and it marked numerous childhoods. However, that era is coming to an end, as Microsoft is preparing to release Xbox Two. More than that, Sony is also preparing to release the next-generation hardware. This means that their rivalry will continue in the future, and it will be interesting to see who wins the next battle.

Three new consoles

It appears that the next generation of consoles from Microsoft might in fact come with three new consoles. The names for them are Scarlett Arcade “Lockhart”, Scarlett Pro “Anaconda” and Xbox “Maverick”. These are solely the codenames for them, and we don’t know whether Microsoft intends to use them.

We don’t know whether Maverick will be part of the Scarlett family. Opinions differ here. While some reports believe that it will be a Scarlett console, others disagree. However, everyone agrees that the console will be released in 2019. It has also been reported that this console will be the cheapest one out of these three.

Meanwhile, it appears that gamers will have to wait a bit longer for Lockhart and Anaconda. It has been reported that these two consoles will be released just in time for the holiday season in 2020. The Anaconda one is expected to be the most expensive one.

Expect some amazing games

It appears that Microsoft has some big plans when it comes to the game lineup. Microsoft reportedly offers an unlimited budget to game studios in order to create the games of their “wildest dreams”. When asked about the budget this is what Microsoft replied: “I don’t think you understand, that’s not our question, our question is what games do you want to make? We are Microsoft and we have the budget, we just want to know what game you want to do, what are your wildest dreams.”
