Huawei P30 Leaks Revealed Waterdrop Notch, Triple-Camera Setup, and 3.5-mm Headphone Jack

In 2018, the most famous Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei, rolled out some impressive devices with high-performance specs and jaw-dropping designs with amazing color schemes. The Chinese brand also pioneered the triple-camera setup on smartphones with its Huawei P20 series. And now, we’ll talk about its successor, Huawei P30. According to new Huawei P30 leaks, the upcoming flagship smartphone would boast a waterdrop notch, triple-camera setup, and 3.5-mm headphone jack.

While we already expected that the Huawei P30 smartphone would come out with a waterdrop notch and three cameras on the back, the fact that it could boast a 3.5-mm headphone jack come as a pleasant surprise for many of us, including myself, since the majority of smartphone manufacturers are ditching it already.

In the Huawei P30 renders leaked via OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, we can see an astonishing sea-blue, gradient finish on the back of the device. Furthermore, the red power button on the side of the smartphone makes it look even more amazing.

As the renders show, Huawei P30 boasts three cameras on the back, accompanied by a quite large LED flash. According to a leak by EvLeaks on Twitter, the three-camera system is made of a 40-megapixel sensor backed by a 5x lossless zoom, and a wide-angle camera. On the front, the future Huawei P30 would come out with a waterdrop notch, a feature that we already expected to see on this device.

While the triple-camera setup and the waterdrop notch are not surprising features for the Huawei P20 successor, the presence of a 3.5-mm headphone jack is since the majority of smartphone manufacturers are working on eliminating this port.

Under the hood, Huawei P30 would pack a Kirin 980 chipset and would run Android 9 Pie with the EMUI 9.0 update. Huawei P30 would be announced by the Chinese manufacturer at the end of February, during the MWC.
