NVIDIA’s GeForce Game Ready 418.91 WHQL Brings in a New Feature

The latest GeForce Game Ready 418.91 WHQL drivers have been released by NVIDIA which means that DLSS technologies and ray traces will be supported in Metro Exodus and Battlefield. Better FPS will be allowed by DLSS through using Deep Learning and Deep Core technology, but the AAA titles will also add visual fidelity.

Two heavyweight triple AAA titles are being aimed by the latest NVIDIA drivers, and one of them is Battlefield V that is already available while after two days they will also get the Metro Exodus.

Support for ray tracing (RTX) technology has already been received by Battlefield V as it was the first title to support it, but in a specific game, DLSS support has also been added by NVIDIA. The frame rates will be increased by DLSS up to 40% ( the own estimation provided by NVIDIA) and thanks to it the TAA method will receive similar quality.

What should you know about the Metro Exodus?

On 15th of February the game, Metro Exodus, will launch which means that you do not have too much time to wait. NVIDIA RTX technologies offer gamers some significant advantages including the DLSS support and the ray tracing one. NVIDIA will be able to show their ray tracing effects’ true potential due to the fact that the game would be taking place in both open and linear world levels. To make sure that you can get all these new features, you should get your PC ready for them.

You will find two ray tracing detail levels in Metro Exodus that being Ultra and High. It is not easy to discern the difference in motion so users should play at High settings, so they do not miss the faster framerate. If you want even better performance, you can also enable DLSS.
