Minecraft has introduced a charity event through a downloadable free map, and water, this simple source of life is given to every person on the planet.
What Is It All About?
Minecraft has gathered $10.000 donation with an organization that has the mission to bring water to those in need. The story is straightforward: more than 663 million people have lack of access to clean water for food, drink, and bath. That means that one person from 10 it lacks water. The goal is simple but yet complicated, Minecraft with an organization wants to bring water to many people as possible because even if we look at it as a simple need, water is essential.
Because of this, Minecraft has teamed up with the content creator Jigarbox Productions for creating an incredible map and some skin packs. The map’s name is Travelling Trader, and you can download it from your marketplace for Xbox One, Windows 10, Android, and Nintendo Switch. Also, the map is free, so go on and hit the download button!
But hang on! If you are still confused about the water, charity, organization, and Minecraft in one place, let us explain. You download the free map and skin pack from Marketplace, and when the download number hits 100.000 times, Minecraft will make a new donation to charity, in this case, water. At 100.000 times downloads; water of $90.000 is being donated.
To sum up, you can help to this great cause by downloading the Travelling Trader map and the two llama skins, and the $100.000 donation represents 3.300 people that will receive water. So Minecraft is counting on all of you to reach the 100.000 times download. Go and hit that button!
