Oppo F9, F9 Pro, and Oppo F7 Owners – Android Pie and ColorOS 6 Updates are Under Tests

Oppo is that kind of company that is pushing the latest update when it comes to its devices. So right now, Oppo is planning to release the Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 to the older devices form their catalog. Some of them are still in beta testing, such as Realme U1, C1, and Realme 2, but other like Realme 2 Pro and Realme 1 are already having the Android OS update with a lot of improvements from the previous OS.

Oppo Device Update

The company’s plan from March is to schedule the new ColorOS update for its devices. So they begin to push the update of the ColorOS 6 with Android 9 Pie in April, to the Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition. The following dates for the updates are in August and September. The first to receive the ColorOS 6 and Android 9 Pie are R17 and R17 Pro and after them Oppo R11, R11 Plus, R11s, R11s Plus, Oppo A3, and A7x.

However, the company didn’t say something about Oppo F9, F9 Pro, and Oppo F7, but as we can see now, they will receive the update sooner. Also, the company shared a list with all the phones that will receive the update and when it will happen. But even if we have this road map from the company, checking the list, we can see that none of the devices listed don’t have the ColorOs 6 received.

Finally, the Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro have now the May Security Patch, and the fans started to ask for the Android 9 Pie and ColorOS 6 update. The conclusion is that the company is working hard to finish the updates and to start them rolling for Oppo F9, Oppo F9 Pro, and F7.
