As the CES 2019 has started, the most significant gadget manufacturers will reveal dozens of products. While many devices would be announced during the CES 2019, we’ll talk now about Samsung Galaxy S10 which looks amazing in new renders. As we already know, CES is about TV sets, laptops, computers, and so on, but it is not about iPhone and Galaxy phones, so such devices are not under the focus of the first tech fair of the year.

Accordingly, MWC 2019 would be the right place for smartphone manufacturers to reveal their latest creations. However, thanks to new renders, we can see how Samsung Galaxy S10 would look like, and it would be stunning.

As reported by Zach Epstein from the BGR, “there will also be plenty of leaks to enjoy this week, as there have been in weeks past,” and “the hotly anticipated Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus will launch much sooner than [iPhone 11] – next month, in fact – and now we have some stunning new images to enjoy while we wait.”

Since last year’s devices, Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, and Note 9, were all powerful devices but incredibly dull, the South Korean giant tech company is planning a fascinating Galaxy S10 device to celebrate ten years of the Galaxy S series existence on the market.

Also, Galaxy S10 would come out in four variants, a standard version, a Galaxy S10 Plus one, a Lite variant, and, reportedly, a Samsung Galaxy S10 Special Edition which would be 5G-compatible.

In the pics below, we can see how amazing the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 looks, as it’s boasting some very cool color schemes, such as red, gold, silver, black, and blue.

During the Intel’s press conference in the preview of CES 2019, the company only presented the new SnowRidge SoC for 5G network, but it has not revealed the potential partnerships with carriers. Therefore, Intel might keep this information secret until Mobile World Congress 2019 which will take place in late-February.

As reported by MobileSyrup, “since MWC 2018, Intel has been silent regarding its plans for 5G, with the only exception being the reveal of its XMM 8160 5G modem back in November. The new modem is designed to work with smartphones, laptops, desktop devices, and broadband access gateways.”

As regarding technology for the upcoming 5G network, Intel fell behind Qualcomm. However, Apple will most likely use Intel’s SnowRidge SoC in its future 5G iPhone which would come out in 2020 or so.

Kodi, Blocked On The Latest Sony Android TVs

Kodi is one very popular media interface, allowing users to install add-ons and stream movies and TV series. However, Kodi earned a bad reputation for itself due to its association with pirated content. While merited, in the opinion of some people, Kodi’s lousy rap is now also acknowledged by Sony. The renowned Japanese tech and entertainment company has blocked Kodi on its latest Android TVs, to the disappointment of those who bought the new TV-sets to run Kodi.

About Kodi

Kodi is an open-source platform for streaming and playing media content, permitting users to access lots of movies and TV series and shows, primarily via the many Kodi add-ons they can install. But Kodi and its add-ons offer access to pirated content, so many mainstream platforms and tech companies, as well as some of the regular streaming platforms’ users, consider Kodi a lousy app.

Even though Kodi is still a popular app for some people from different regions of the world, this streaming platform became troublesome for some of the mainstream companies. The first to take official action against Kodi was Sony.

Kodi, Blocked On The Latest Sony Android TVs, To The Disappointment of The Fans

A couple of days ago, Kodi devs pointed out to the Sony’s decision to block the platform on the latest Android TVs the Japanese tech company released. “Well done Sony Electronics for actively preventing users from installing Kodi on their newer Android TVs. How grown up of you. Even their firmware in the TVs is broken. Guess we will suggest users just to buy something else that does work,” said Kodi devs on Twitter.

Some of the Kodi’s fans have also reported that the latest Sony Android TVs are blocking the Kodi ID package from being installed or run. The solution would be recompiling the application from scratch with a different ID to make it run on the most recent Android TVs from Sony.

In the end, some of the Kodi fans who bought the latest Sony Android TVs announced their intention to move away from future Sony devices, and choose other tech companies instead, Samsung being the most attractive alternative for the majority of them.
