Elder Scrolls 6 Could Boast Advanced, Realistic Graphics

Elder Scrolls franchise enjoys a loyal fan base, and many gamers are looking forward to the next entry in the series. Elder Scrolls 6 is still in the early stages, but Bethesda has decided to show a few glimpses of the technology which is used for the new title and how it can mark a significant improvement for the franchise.

During PAX East 2019 Bethesda noted that photogrammetry would be employed in the development of upcoming titles. Photogrammetry is used to scan real-world landmarks and people, and the data collected can be converted to accurate 3D models which add a layer of realism.
Many have started to question Bethesda’s stubbornness to use a modified game engine which is a bit old. The latest reveal may alleviate some of these worries since it proves that Bethesda is interested in delivering new video games which look better.

It was also announced that Bethesda would use the same technology to immortalize Shirley Curry, a well-known YouTube content creator who is known as the Skyrim Grandma. She will appear as a featured NPC in Elder Scrolls 6 and players will have a chance to interact with her.

Elder Scrolls 6 Might Feature Advanced Graphics

The announcement that Elder Scrolls 6 will use photogrammetry has been well-received by many aren’t sure if they can trust the studio. Bethesda lost a lot of faith when Fallout 76, the first multiplayer title developed by the studio, was released to near-universal disdain from fans and critics alike.

Todd Howard promised that the game would provide a revolutionary experience, but the truth was a bit different. The game was affected by a large number of glitches, the content was uninspired, and the lackluster narrative setting disappointed a high number of people. Fallout 76 sales were so weak that the games were heavily discounted in the first weeks and some shops decided to offer it for free if the customer made other purchases.

It remains to be seen if Bethesda will be able to convince fans that it learned from past mistakes with Elder Scrolls 6.

Google Maps Has Received A Hidden Game, A Revamped Variant Of “Snake”

Regularly, improvements and new features are always coming to Google Maps because Google consistently updates its navigation app. New navigation functionality is typically added with each update, but this time, users received a hidden game from the tech giant to play on Google Maps. We’re talking about a revamped variant of the classic “Snake” game.

The classic game Snake received a makeover from Google, making it suitable to be played within Google Maps. As April Fool’s Day has just passed, the software now allows you to choose a particular part of the world, as part of the celebration, that you can use as an overlay for the game.

As the character users control, a method of public transport will be used instead of a snake. However, this depends on the city of choice. For example, as if one user’s choice is London, a traditional city bus will be the character. In addition to that, passengers will be collected in the game space instead of pieces of food as in the standard version of Snake.

A revamped version of “Snake” came to Google Maps as a hidden game

Furthermore, the character of the user can grow and boost their score thanks to the landmarks for the location the user has selected and will appear. If you want to give this game a try, you can use the world as a whole or only a city such as Tokyo, São Paulo, Sydney, Cairo, San Francisco, and Cairo.

Google said that “Google Maps shows you how to get around on foot, car, train, and bicycle, and now, you can ‘ssslither’ to your destination too. Starting today [April 1st], you can play a twist on the Snake game in different locations across the world – including Cairo, London, San Francisco, São Paulo, Sydney, and Tokyo – right from Google Maps.”

If you want to travel somewhere, but you are not that sure you will like it, this is an excellent way of finding that out.

Clash of Clans April Update Delayed Until Tomorrow Due To A Severe Bug

A few days ago, we talked about April’s Clash Royale Balance Update. While that one went live earlier today, Supercell faced some issues of the Clash of Clans update, also scheduled for today. It seems that the Clash of Clans April’s update was delayed until tomorrow, April 2nd. Are you wondering why Supercell had to postpone that Clash of Clans update? According to Supercell, a severe bug was the culprit.

Clash of Clans April’s update wouldn’t be only a Balance Update as in the case of Clash Royale. In reality, Supercell also planned to roll out a new feature in the game – Seasonal Challenges. As we’ve already reported about that here, this new mode called Seasonal Challenges would be similar to Fortnite’s (and other Battle Royale games) Battle Pass.

Besides adding this novelty to Clash of Clans, Supercell also planned some gameplay tweaks and stability and performance improvements. However, the famous mobile games creator had to delay the Clash of Clans update until tomorrow, April 2nd.

A severe bug forced Supercell to delay the Clash of Clans April update

“We know you were anxiously looking forward to the update today as much as we were, but due to the discovery of a serious bug, we have to push back the update release until tomorrow (April 2nd) until we could resolve the issue,” announced Supercell in an official blog post. Besides, the studio also postponed the start of April’s Clan War League to tomorrow, April 2nd.

It seems that a severe bug made Supercell postpone Clash of Clans Seasonal Challenges and well as the beginning of the new month’s Clan War League, as the company reported.

To apologize to the fans for this inconvenience, Supercell is running a Town Hall Wrecking event. During this special event, those players who manage to destroy 5 Town Halls will gain a Book of Heroes.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Received New Pokemon Monsters

The Pokemon Company may have announced Pokemon Sword and Shield, but it didn’t forget about the players who enjoy Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the latest entry in the popular game series. Players who have an active Pokemon Bank subscription will be able to get two new Pokemon monsters for their collection.

By signing into the Pokemon Bank, you will be able to claim Oranguru and Passimian for free. These particular Pokemon will arrive with their Hidden Abilities, which aren’t usually available in the case of other Pokemon featured in the game.

Passimian’s Defiant ability will automatically boost its attack when the opponent lowers one of its other traits. Oranguru will be able to use Symbiosis, which allows him to pass the item held by the Pokemon to other allies. The power will work in Double or Triple battles if the other Pokémon consumes its item.

How to claim the new Pokemon monsters in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

The two Pokemon can be requested in the Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, as well as in the regular versions of the games. To gain access to them, you will have to insert the game cartridge into the 3DS and open the Pokemon Bank app. A notification will let you know that gifts are available.

You will then have to start the game and receive the Pokemon from the delivery man who will spawn in the front of a Pokemon Center. At this point, we don’t know if the event will last for a long while so you may want to act before the opportunity slips away.

The Pokemon Bank is a paid feature which allows the player to easily transfer and store Pokemon between the titles which feature the sixth and seventh generation of Pokemon. Subscribers will often receive free Pokemon from the service. In 2018, the three Alola starters were offered with their Hidden Abilities. Besides free Pokemon, players can also claim a Mystery Gift which can contain a selection of useful items, including an assortment of rare Berries.
