Clash of Clans on Windows Phone – When Will It Be Available?

People keep asking when are they going to get Clash of Clans for Windows Phone. We know that this means that you could be able also to play it on PC – but players already do that, thanks to the emulators. So here’s our question: is it going to happen?

Some users said that it’s not possible, since Windows is not as popular as Android or iOS. Some others say that the team behind the game would need to port it to a very small market, so there’s really no point. They wouldn’t want to waste resources for a platform that’s not popular among users as others.

We have an official answer: you can – on PC, if you use an emulator.

Unfortunately, there’s no official version of the game that’s released for Windows Phone. We will give you some tips on how to install the game on PC, by using an emulator.

How to download and install the game

First of all, you need to open a new tab and search for the official Clash of Clans APK. It will take sometimes to get all downloaded, so you might have to wait for a bit.

Then you need to go to the official BlueStacks website and get the BlueStacks installer. When all the downloads are done, you need to double-click on the BlueStacks installer – the install should start in a few seconds. Then you need to choose which Program Files folder will be the one to carry the emulator.

When the installation is done, you need to find the desktop icon shortcut of the app, and then double-click it to open the first startup. At this point, you’ll get a short instruction manual.

To make sure that the emulator works smoothly, go to Settings and get to Account and then log into your Google account. Then double-click on the Clash of Clans APK file in order for the BlueStack to start installing. After the installation is done, you can start playing the game.
