Microsoft’s Andromeda Entirely Revamped for 2019

Microsoft has been the wavemaker in the backchannel over the past couple of weeks. Why? Because the public is excited to find out more about the Andromeda project and when it is going to be released. Just like when the Nintendo Switch was launched, we could get behind it before that event, and we might do it again with Andromeda as it seems to be a portable computing concept. However, it would still need some work this time as it is little to no information on the internet regarding this subject.

As the launch appears to have a delay, Thurott shared the information received by internal sources and here are some reasons why Andromeda might be released later than expected, in 2019. Somehow when it came for Microsoft to play the “go, no go” decision game, at this point of the year, the trigger was pulled on “no” so there will be no holiday season release.

At the moment, the subject of the company’s worries is if they confused the public with their Surface brand. It is crystal clear that this brand is a premium and pioneering brand for convertible tablets and laptops. What might drag the reputation of Surface Book, Surface Laptop and Surface Pro down would be a smaller device with an imperfect execution on its dual-sided convertible design and lesser processing power. It does not sound like the Surface brand perfection, does it?

If you take that and add Qualcomm hard working process of creating high-powered ARM silicon which might not be ready until the end of the year (consider that early), the result will be…disappointing. Another year stuck in the pipeline, so this is why Andromeda is yet to have a launch date revealed and because of Surface Phone waiters will be upset.

Netflix Blocks Your VPN Service: Here’s How to Stop It

So it happens that your Netflix figured out you use a VPN, so it blocked it. When a Netflix client connects to his account, he is the only one who has access to the service from that IP address.

When lots of people connect from one IP address, Netflix starts asking questions, such as why are so many different Netflix accounts connecting to their account from one IP address.

We’ve written this article to give you tips on how to stop Netflix from blocking your VPN and how to get American Netflix in Australia or all around the world. Try using PureVPN for this.

Update the geo-location data of your browser

It’s probable that your browser leaks the geo-location data of Netflix. For instance, if your VPN tells Netflix you’re in France, but Chrome tells Netflix you’re in New York, that might cause the problem. Check the geo-location data of your browser and update it so that it corresponds with your VPN.

Clear your cookies

It’s also possible that there are some cookies you forgot about on your device that sends Netflix the wrong data. Clean your cookies and then give your browser a refresh. This way, your VPN will also get the chance to function the way it’s supposed to.

Take care of your DNS leaks

Another problem can be the fact that you have DNS leaks. They will tell Netflix where you are, even though you’re using a VPN service to cover your IP address.

In general, VPNs which are famous for unblocking Netflix don’t usually have DNS leaks. But, if you’re using one that is supposed to work just to unblock Netflix, then you may need to check the DNS for leaks.

Check for WebRTC leaks

WebRTC is short for Web Real-Time Communication and is a compilation of technologies that lets browsers to connect with each other without using an intermediate server. To do that, they need to know the IP addresses of each other. Netflix can use the WebRTC from your browser to detect the real IP address and block you. To get rid of this problem, you have to install an extension in Chrome, which is called Easy WebRTC Block. You’ll solve this problem in no time. With this method, you’ll stop wondering how to get US Netflix in New Zealand.

iPhone SE Might be Discontinued – What’s Next?

iPhone SE (an iPhone 5s which iPhone 6 features) was introduced in March 2016 by Apple. It aimed to be a budget iPhone that could be afford and bought by more customers. Also, some Apple lovers at that time asked for a smaller screen smartphone.

However, Apple might discontinue it because there is no next model in plan and if that is the case of a “limited edition” phone, let’s see why.

Bigger is better

Customers have changed their preferences regarding the size or their phone, and one proof of that was Apple’s significant increase in revenue after introducing the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in 2015.

Luca Maestri, Apple CFO said regarding company’s October 2016 earnings conference call that “worldwide demand for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus has significantly outpaced supply, particularly on iPhone 7 Plus.”

Then, a year later, Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO said regarding company’s November 2017 earnings call that the iPhone 8 Plus had “gotten off to the fastest start of any Plus model.”

“That for us was a bit of a surprise, and a positive surprise,” Cook said.

Furthermore, Apple’s iPhone X (having a larger display than the iPhone 8) is proving to be Apple’s best-selling iPhone model.

“And customers chose iPhone X more than any other iPhone each week in the March quarter, just as they did following its launch in the December quarter,” Cook said regarding company’s earnings conference call of May.

Not budget customers’ choice

Another reason why iPhone SE was introduced was to enable iPhone-wanting people to buy one by reducing the cost of production and automatically decrease the price of the device.

Apple also took into consideration the competition (Android offering low-cost and big-screened phones with average internal features), but iPhone SE just can’t please everybody.

Investor takeaway

iPhone SE’s discontinuation might upset some customers, but it will be for a better future of the bigger screen phones.

At least now we know why Apple would take that risk to make such a decision.
