The iOS 11.4.1 Jailbreak is Not Too Far from Happening

The jailbreak community is ready for a tool that can liberate their iOS devices from the 11.4.1 version from Apple, and their hopes have recently grown as it might be time for its release.

A renowned developer, Tihmstar, posted a tweet on 12th of January that got the Jailbreak anticipators on their toes as he announced he finished the exploit that will help him port the KPP bypass to iOS 11. However, people still need to wait for its release as the developer does not want to overlap with another project from other people.

To make sure that the jailbreak community waiting for the iOS 11.4.1 sleeps well at night knowing it is on its way, Tihmstar decided to post a follow-up tweet not too much time after announcing his followers that they should better stay on iOS 11 and keep their lightning adapters and headphone jacks at reach distance. According to the IDownload Blog, he proceeded in telling the people who follow him that if they are unjailbroken, they should remain this way, and if they are not, they will have a surprise.

The tweets got both some reactions and were retweeted and like repeatedly while many people from the jailbreak community asked questions through the comment section.

Even though the release of this tool is not a concrete event, the Tech News hinted that the statements from Tihmstar are enough a promise to make people think that the iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak is not too far from being launched. With that being said, even though Apple tries to eliminate the jailbreak community with every update they release, a kernel was still there for our developer to reach and enter into their security vulnerability.

Motorola Moto Z3 Play and Moto G4 Plus Gets Latest Android Updates

In the past, Android updates have been quite problematic. We all know how much it took for an update to reach all devices. Right now things aren’t perfect, but we can notice an improvement. Android updates reach devices faster than they did before, and this is something that we must appreciate.

This time, the Android Pie update reached a new smartphone. More precisely, we talk about the Motorola Moto Z3 Play. The smartphone was launched back in June, last year. The Motorola Moto Z3 Play comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and a 6″, 2160 x 1080, 18:9 AMOLED display.

At the moment, the update has become available on phones in the United States. The update comes with all the features of Android Pie, including a redesigned recent apps menu, a virtual screenshot key, new emoji, adaptive brightness and battery, redesigned navigation system and more.

Android Oreo for the Moto G4 Plus

The Motorola Moto Z3 is not the only Motorola phone that gets a new Android update. The Moto G4 Plus is an older Motorola device that it was announced back in 2016. The phone came with Android Marshmallow out of the box, but it also received the Android Nougat update later on.

Now it appears that the Moto Z3 Play is receiving its third Android update. Android 8.1 Oreo has been released for the smartphone. More than a year has passed since the announcement for Android Oreo, so we must observe that this update took time.

It appears that Motorola is to blame for this delay. There have been some issues, including update promises that were hardly kept by the company. However, better late than never.

Builder Base

However, if you want to provide your village some special upgrades, your master builder can visit the home base. Home base has a different gameplay algorithm than the builder base. The winner, based on the number of maximum stars achieved in the attack, is decided and you are picked against an opponent in real-time. The player with a higher destruction percentage is considered a winner in case they have an equal number of stars.

Pokemon GO and Pokemon: Let’s Go! Connection issue

Pokemon GO is still going strong and developers make sure that new updates are added regularly so that people cannot get bored. However, players were disappointed recently. The game has a brand new Meltan event that could reward a Mystery Box. Thanks to the box the Meltan should come out in the Wild, which is a great price, as the Pokemon is quite rare.

However, the event was supposed to make players connect Pokemon GO and Pokemon: Let’s Go!. The bad news is that this didn’t work as it was supposed to. People complained about not being able to connect the two games, which made it impossible for them to get the Mystery Box.

Getting the Meltan

In order to get the exclusive Meltan, players need to connect the smartphone game Pokemon GO with the Switch game Pokemon: Let’s Go. Then they had to trade a Pokemon from the first game to the Go Park of the other one. By doing this a Mystery Box would become available in Pokemon GO. Once the box is opened by players, they are given a period of time in which they can hunt as many Meltan as they can find.

The solutions

If you are one of the players that couldn’t connect the games, there is no reason to worry. It appears that there is a solution for this issue and it is a simple one as well. The fix was posted on Twitter by Niantic Support.

“Trainers, we have confirmed that the latest update to the Nintendo Switch is affecting the ability to connect to Pokémon GO. Disconnecting Pokémon GO and restarting your Switch by holding the power button for 3 seconds should allow you to reconnect,” announced a tweet posted by Niantic Support.
