Clash of Clans TH8 Attacking Guide – How to be the Best in GoWipe

As you have seen, the strategy for the TH8 that we will talk about is called GoWipe. This army consists of wizards, golems, and PEKKAs. In addition to that, you also have a hog rider, some archers and wall breakers.

From where do you attack the best?

In order for you to get a better look at the strategy, we will be discussed based on an example base design. Down below you can see the Town Hall 8 base layout that will be used for the exemplification of the tactics.

At a quick look, you can see that the wall of the base are not completely max, which means that your troops will not find any difficulty when they are trying to bust open and get to the core of the base. Even though the air defense is max, our attack will still be powerful. However, our enemies will be the wizard towers and the maxed cannons, but we will not let them win.

As a basic rule you will need to take in consideration where your clan castle kill will take place as we will need to attack near that location. After killing the clan castle troops, you will still have some troops of your own remaining that should be protected. It is best to attack from the side of building in the corner as your clan castle kill might be there.

The other tip in this category is to make sure the big-holed in the base are attacked. Those holes are predicted to hold giant bomb which might hit on your army and only bring you loss. It is better to hit your golems from the beginning rather than destroying a group of wizards afterward.

The Clan Castle Kill

We will begin this attack with the clan castle in the main focus. The best tip in this category is to kill the clan castle troops as early as possible so you will not get distracted or damaged from them later when your attention will be necessary for multiple places.

Your hog rider is available, so the best you can do with it is to play him at the point that takes him as close as possible to the clan castle. Before the hog dies, you will have a warranty that all the clan castle troops are lured. Do not forget that 25 housing space of troops ought to come out.

Until a troop is played, the clan castle troops will stay where you placed them after the hog is no longer a weapon. Now for the building in the corners, you need to place a solitary archer on each of them so your troops will not get shot.

Your wizards should be dropped after the troops reach your kill zone. It is the best to position them in a circle so other wizards or dragons will not one-shot the entire group. What should also be a great tactic is to throw in your slowing and damage poison spells.

As the clan castle troops are no longer standing, the GoWipe main attack should start. In order to soak up all the damage, you should play your golems in front. Space them apart as great as possible so they will become the target of the defenses and not your beloved wizards.

Your attack will be based on how you use your golems so make sure they are alive. The damage done by wizard towers, mortars, and bombs will be limited by the spreading of your golems.

Tip one: Your Targets Need To Be Picked Wisely

If you are at a higher level in Clash of Clans and choose to go after the weaker enemies than we must tell you this is not a good strategy. This does not create excellent resources and points earned report so it will take you longer to get to the next level. If your primary goal is to keep your resources stock high, then you should use goblins instead of a full army when you go after your enemy. In case a loss takes place, you would still have the resources. This is a great tip to follow when you are not sure how the games session is going to work.

Tip two: Take Care Of Your Gems

If you have set up a goal to build huts, then you should make sure that your gems are well taken care of because besides the fact that they bring more points they have other usage variants too. Make sure that your gems are spent wisely and that you use missions to your advantage so you will get as many as possible. If you keep a gem budget than your progress will be faster. Leveling up without proper protection is not a good idea so you should better build stronger huts.

Tip three: Make Your Army As Strong As Possible

Before you get into a war, you usually have an entire day ahead. You should use this time to your advantage before going into a war. While waiting, you can upgrade your air defense, get to know the battlefield and arrange your army. You should choose land battlefields if your walls are low level. Alongside with that, before launching an attack, make sure that you pinpoint the weaknesses and strengths of your target group too.

Tip four: Unprotected Villages Should Be Your Target

No start will be found on the unprotected villages. If you attack this kind of villages, then you also gain more points and speed up your development. However, do not forget that your weaker clans are exposed to stiffer battles when you go after tough opponents and do not lose. The advantage of going after a weaker opponent is that it makes it difficult for your allies to get into a war with tougher opponents.

Tip five: Shielding Is Important

We know that your favorite activity in the game is to go after your enemies but so do they. In case you end up with your whole town destroyed, or your Town Hall crumbled, you will have twelve precious hours, time in which you should choose what you re doing next. We are recommending that you build your army, upgrade your towers and spend all your gems before getting into the next attack.

Tip six: Attacking And Defending should be done in the same amount

Your goal as village chief in Clash of Clans is to attack your enemies while, at the same time, make sure that your town is well defended. If you do not want to get into fights, at least keep in mind that you need to have your village defended. To do so, you should upgrade your air defense, town hall, and walls. If you want to play the offensive part, then upgrades should be done to your archers, mortars, and cannons numbers. Having higher points on your town halls do not bring you too much point when you attack weaker enemies. In order to level up, you should make sure that the players you attack have the same town hall level as you.

The new iPhone XS Max iOS 12 jailbreak tool by Luca Todesco

Two weeks ago, it has been reported that Pangu jailbreak team successfully jailbreak the iPhone XS running on iOS 12. In the present, Italian developer and renowned jailbreaker, known for his iOS 10-centric Yalu jailbreak tool, Luca Todesco, has confirmed via Twitter that he has successfully jailbroken his iPhone XS Max hardware running on iOS 12.

Last October 8, 2018, Todesco posted this tweet:

‘Since I’m finally done hacking the Xs Max I started using it as my daily driver and I gotta say it’s a damn fine piece of hardware’

Luca Todesco has now a major contribution in the jailbreak community as he was responsible for the Yalu and Yalu102 jailbreaks as well. The release of his iOS 12 jailbreak tool is entirely up for debate.

Since the Italian developer brags about the iPhone XS Max as being a “fine piece of hardware”, one Twitter user who goes by the name Ben Vinci asked Todesco if he has experienced any issues with his phone. The main complaints about iPhone XS Max coming from users are:

  • It won’t charge if plugged into a wall charger when in standby.
  • When trying to charge, the device’s screen will freeze for several minutes and will have to be reset.
  • LTE connectivity and signal problems.

Forbes’ Gordon Kelly reports:

‘Speaking to me ahead of publishing, Lewis Hilsenteger – aka Unbox Therapy – told me of “hundreds” of posts detailing a phenomenon whereby the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will not charge if they are plugged into a wall charger when in standby. Moreover, some of the phones become frozen and have to be reset.’

But Todesco replied that his device just works fine and that he did not experience any charging and connectivity issues so far.

Since the charging and reception issues are the most common, an article report says that Apple will be releasing a fix in the next few weeks, but until then owners will just have to figure out a way to charge their iPhone XS and XS Max.

Minecraft 2 Leaks Start to Appear

Every month, about 100 million people play Minecraft, and over 150 million copies have been sold. It’s the second most high-selling game of all times. Do you know which one is the first one? Tetris.

It has great success and it’s understandable why we assume that there’s going to be the second game. Microsoft paid $2.5 billion for “Minecraft”, so we think that the expectations are correct. However, Microsoft does not have the same opinion. They don’t think it’s any use in giving the community a sequel. The new game from Minecraft is not called Minecraft 2, but Minecraft: Dungeons, and it’s something like Diablo set in the Minecraft universe. This piece of information was revealed in the weekend while a live-streamed fan event took place, which was called Minecon Earth. The game is created by a group from Mojang, which created the game Minecraft.

The new game

The game looks like the original Minecraft. However, it does not have the signature of the game – you won’t be mining and crafting too much. They wanted the dungeon crawler part to be the best one, so they didn’t focus as much on the crafting and mining part. This part could’ve distracted the players from the true meaning of the game – the dungeon part. Can you imagine the Minecraft game without a building?

They’re trying to expand the community, and they’re doing that with Dungeons. At the same time, they want to keep the community together, so their updates are free. They don’t want their players to go from Minecraft 1 to Minecraft 2; they simply want them to enjoy it while keeping the game authentic.

Besides, what would Minecraft 2 look like? People don’t need a Minecraft 2, as they’re able to create the Minecraft 2 within the Minecraft 1.
