Tezos (XTZ): Tezos Foundation To Roll Out The Tezos MainNet Today

The Tezos Foundation has announced that the launch of its MainNet will take place this Monday, September 17th. This announcement caused a sudden rise in the price of Tezos (XTZ).

As a consequence of the announcement, Tezos (XTZ) reported a 26.6% increase in its price, reaching $1.69 level, when previously it was quoted at $1.23. However, at the time of this writing, XTZ dropped back to $1.57.

Before the upcoming launch, some crypto and blockchain ecosystem enthusiasts do not agree with the proposal and the actions of Tezos in recent months. Furthermore, some even said that the launch of the new Tezos (XTZ) MainNet is due to statements made by Vitalik Buterin recently, in which the developer described Tezos as a “shitcoin.”

Beyond the reactions of the community, Tezos would offer a new blockchain, constituted from scratch by its developers, and that offers its users stability to incorporate technological updates, being this the main commercial objective of the Tezos Foundation.

Tezos began as one of the community’s most promising cryptocurrency projects in 2017 when the Tezos (XTZ) Initial Coin Offering (ICO) took place.

Tezos (XTZ) went into a tailspin when the Breitman couple, creators of the Tezos (XTZ) project, denounced that Johan Gevers, the president of the Tezos Foundation at that time, had diverted part of the funds for personal benefit.

This news generated a stampede of lawsuits on the part of the contributors for damages and prejudices, which were concentrated in several collective trials that, to this day, are being processed.

In addition to lawsuits, the Tezos (XTZ) network has also suffered constant delays due to technological updates and new policies. For example, on June 12th, the Tezos Foundation announced that contributors could only claim their tokens after identity verification, measures that were in line with the newly adopted Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.

These new measures were applied to the test network, better known as “BetaNet,” which has been open to the public since June 30th and allowed users to carry out experimental transactions. However, although expectations were again positive after Tezos (XTZ) got listed by the Gatecoin crypto exchange, its price fell by 48%.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date And New Gameplay Details

The second title of the Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption classic western video game series, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel set 12 years before the events in the original release. Set in an open-world environment in the American wilderness, Red Dead Redemption 2 will follow the story of Dutch Van der Linde and his gang which has a young John Marston as one of its members.

Surprisingly, even though the game is just around the corner, it was not a part of the E3 2018, but, still, Rockstar released several trailers, new gameplay details, that besides the rumors that emerged on the Internet lately.

Red Dead Redemption 2 release date

Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch on October 26th, 2018, for PS4 and Xbox One. For collectors, Rockstar will also release a premium package known as the Special Edition, priced at $80, and comes with a copy of the game with some extra special missions, new weapons, and a physical map of the game’s world for gamers to own.

Also, there will be an Ultimate Edition and a Collector’s Box, both priced at $100. The Ultimate Edition contains all the items found in the Special Edition, plus additional DLC items. On the other hand, the Collector’s Box doesn’t provide any digital items but will come out with a unique playing cards deck, artwork, a bandit’s bandana, a physical map of the game world, and a collector’s coin.

Red Dead Redemption 2 – Gameplay

Set in the America of 1899, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a classic western shooter set 12 years before the events in the first title of the franchise. Rockstar revealed the first detailed gameplay trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 on August 9th when we could see that the core mechanics from the first title were still in place, but everything else was revamped.

Accordingly, wildlife is now smarter living within its ecosystem, and the character can interact with other people more naturally, something that was impossible in the first title of the game.

Although Rockstar did not share any detail on the multiplayer gameplay, the first Red Dead Redemption came out with an online free-for-all mode, along with a team deathmatch style gameplay in the open world, so some rumors say the follow-up game, Red Dead Redemption 2, would contain all of those plus a new Battle Royale game mode.

An Accurate Classification of AI Technologies

Artificial intelligence has become a huge thing in the past years, and we know how it all is with landscapes, distinctions, and infographics: they all show how people think about AI. Here we’re not going to talk about these categories, since putting things into boxes don’t really mean we have a clear image about them.

We believe that what we’re about to do will be useful for those who are new to this topic, just as much as it will help those with some experience on their backs – they will all be able to start and keep a conversation about AI alive. We’re going to call this your way to pre-existing knowledge on this topic, a way that will let you choose info and even make new knowledge on artificial intelligence.

There are six AI paradigms:

Tools based on knowledge, which are mainly based on databases full of rules and information

Tools based on logic, which are the ones used for knowledge representation and for solving problems

Probabilistic methods, which are the tools that lets agents act in some incomplete information situations

Machine learning, which are the tools that let computers learn from specific data

Embodied intelligence, which is basically an engineering toolbox that shows a body that’s required for higher intelligence – we’re talking about at least a part of functions, like perception, interaction, movement, visualization.

Search and optimization, which make the most out of tools that let intelligence search with lots of possible solutions.

All of these 6 find themselves in other three different branches, called macro-approaches – Symbolic, Sub-symbolic and Statistical.

  • Symbolic – human intelligence can be reduced to the manipulation of symbol
  • Sub-symbolic  – it doesn’t really have a specific representation of knowledge given ex-ante
  • Statistical – this one is based on math and math tools in order to solve the sub-symbolic problems.

There are five problems that AI has been used for:

  1. Reasoning, which is the capacity to solve the problems
  2. Knowledge, which is the capacity to represent and also understand the world
  3. Planning, which is the capacity to set goals and then achieve them
  4. Communication, which is the capacity to understand the language and them communicate with others
  5. Perception, which is the ability to transform the sensorial inputs, such as sounds, images to information that can be used in different cases.

The technologies are divided into two groups: narrow applications and general applications. Of course, if you’re new here, is crucial to understand the difference between weak and narrow AI, strong and general AI and artificial superintelligence. The artificial superintelligence is a theory that’s up to date, the general AI is a goal that’s to be reached and the narrow AI is what we have in the present, and that is a set of technologies that aren’t really able to cope with the things that are outside their scope. Some of these technologies can solve a specific problem, some better than humans (we’re talking about the narrow applications), and others can deal with multiple problems now or in the future, some better than humans (we’re talking about general applications).

Which are some of those technologies?

Robotic Process Automation, which is the one that cites a list of rules to take into account by seeing someone doing a specific task.

Expert Systems, which is a computer program that has some rules to outdo the way humans make decisions. An example of this is fuzzy systems which use values between 0 and 1, and not the traditional logic, which only gives the 0/1 result.

Computer Vision, which are methods to get and understand digital images

Natural Language Processing, which is a subfield that deals with natural language data – language generation, language understanding and machine translation.

Autonomous Systems, which is another sub-field that is placed between intelligent systems and robotics – agile object handling, intelligent perception.

Hiddad Malware Risk On Google Play Store – Staying Safe Tips

While Google is considered a security expert, it appears that the Google Play Store is not as safe as it should be. Recently Quick Heal Security Lab detected Hiddad Malware on Google Play store. Multiple applications were infected, and, after users installed them they displayed ads that covered the entire screen. It was difficult to uninstall these apps, as they did not show up in app manager. An app that had Hiddad Malware usually appeared under the name “Google Play Service, Google Play Store”, and it used icons from trustable applications, such as Youtube.

Uninstalling the apps

If you have one of these applications you should uninstall it as sooner as possible. Here is how you can do this.

  • First of all, go to Settings and open App Manager.
  • Look for Google Play Store and identify the fake app.

If you are not sure which application should be uninstalled, you can get a program to help you. There are numerous antivirus programs that are designed to detect malware and remove it. This tool will identify the risky applications and you will be asked whether you want to uninstall them.

Staying safe

While unwanted ads aren’t that dangerous, you should remember that risky apps can even end up damaging your phone or threatening your data. This is the reason why you should try to avoid fake applications.

Before you download any kind of app you must take a look at its description. If there is something out of place, don’t install it. You should also take a look at the name of the developer. It is recommended that you install apps from well-known developers since those are usually safer. Reviews and ratings can also help you find out whether an app is risky. Nonetheless, remember that they can be fake as well, so be careful.

  6. Unlike other kids whose fathers became the American President, Barron Trump didn’t rush into moving at the White House. He made this step in June after months of living with his mother in New York;
  7. He has a whole floor to himself at the White House. Hearing this, everybody wonders what can he do with an entire floor? This will remain a secret forever;
