What Kind of Magic will bring iOS 13 For Mac?

Apple has made a lot of people fall in love with their products because there are selling devices that are running only one operating system, they are easy to use and you don’t have to fuss with the diversity of products. All these points taken has made Apple be the winner at selling their devices.

From the end of last year, we know that iOS 12 will be the one that will make a difference and we will have apps that will work with iPhone, IPad and Mac. Because it’s not happening anymore, we have to wait for the grand entry of iOS 13.

John Gruber and his sources affirm that the project exists and it’s under construction. It even has a codename “Marzipan”, but the real name of the project hadn’t escaped the rooms of secrets.

Also, the Apple fan Gruber, says that he’s sure that we will not see “Marizpan” at WWDC this year and it will be delayed for MacOS 10.15 and iOS 13 in 2019.

It’s unsatisfying that we will not get our hands on this new characteristic as soon as possible, but maybe the waiting it’s a good thing after all, because we can get more stability and quality versus fast updates and features that fails and needs fixes all the time.

We are looking forward with enthusiasm to see the new app features, even if we’re having already a good functionality between iOS and Mac devices, but with the plus of apps that will work on both operating systems may make it a child’s play and an easy passage from our phones to our desktop and vice versa.

The date of the release it’s getting closer and closer, 2019 is coming soon and we are very enthusiastic about the new features of iOS 13. Until then we will find out more information and if the iOS 13 will be the game-changer with his new operating system.

The cross-platform app functionality will be the ace up the sleeve with the release of the 2019 version of iOS.

Sony Breaks the Ice With New PlayStation 5 and an Eight-Year PlayStation 4

Even if Sony has started to mention new information about the company’s future PlayStation 5, it seems that they are not done with PlayStation 4 either. It is still going strong and consumers don’t feel the need for a new hardware or consider the platform out-dated. So, the discussions about Sony’s products are either focused on the future PlayStation 5 or on keeping the PlayStation 4 on the market for longer.

Sony is almost as important as Nintendo, a position which will enable the company to gain even more market share in the future but it shouldn’t be distracted by using more resources for one console than the other.

The PlayStation 4’s popularity

In 2018, PS4 will be on the market for five years. Sony may follow the PlayStation 3’s trend of lasting over seven years and go even further to confirm that it will last for three years or more, breaking the company’s record of such a lasting presence. Its lifespan may have been extended, but fans need to know what a future PlayStation will bring to the table.  The company will consolidate the PlayStation 4 in order to catch the consumers’ attention and raise brand awareness for its next console.

The shift from the SNES-era systems to the PlayStation and from the PlayStation to the PlayStation 2 made Sony what it is today. The PS4 has introduced the 4K gaming together with Xbox One games but it seems that it would remain the last “traditional” console generation after the PlayStation 5 will be launched. However, the technological advancement will be a subtle one, making it easy to understand that consumers are really satisfied with the PS4.

The future PlayStation 5

Sony’s console will be the closest thing to a cutting-edge successor, leaving the days of testing proprietary hardware and Emotion Engine far behind. Whatever configuration of hardware Sony will use, it will look almost as a linear evolution of the PS4. The PS5 is expected to perfectly run your digital library of PS4 games, depending on the Blu-Ray drive. Since losing an entire library of digital games would be a great drive not to switch to a different platform, it would additionally lock consumers into their console choice.

Sony hasn’t made all the decision regarding the PlayStation 4 yet but it would be surprising if the company hadn’t already tried PS5 prototypes with a hybrid home console model for Switch or even with an eGPU for a portable device. However, in such cases, the hardware would likely be compatible with the PS4. The next console model will certainly have an upgraded hardware for the first time in Sony’s platforms.

H1Z1: Battle Royale fans receive great news as a patch filled with improvements and fixes just landed. The team tells gamers on Twitter that all of their feedback has helped them a lot in tracking down issues and fixing them. A Reddit post highlights the most important improvements and fixes that are included in the patch. Here are the essential changes that you will be able to enjoy:

Updates and bug fixes

  • The duos have been unlocked and it’s open for play.
  • The minimap has been enhanced in order to be more performant.
  • The rendering issues that were found in more locations of the world when you’re driving a car have been resolved.
  • The medical items will no longer play footstep sound effects.
  • The party leader will always see the fifth member of their team in the lobby UI.
  • The issue where the PSN profile photo wasn’t always loaded for all team members has been fixed.
  • The throwables are playing their proper animations from now on.
  • Marauder and CNQ-09 have appropriate pick-up items.
  • Marauder and KH-43 are showing the correct icons in the death screen panel.
  • The crate opening audio now sounds correct regarding distance.
  • A few issues that could have crashed the game have been fixed.

Currently tracked issues

  • It seems that some gamers may still see stuck/”infinite” queue time issue and be restarting the app seems to help.
  • The team is still working to make sure that all gamers who ordered the Nemesis Pre-Order Bundle receive their items.

MacBook Pro 2018 Leaks – Will It Have Significant Upgrades?

The MacBook Pro line has had various problems and complaints regarding its design and functionality. The new MacBook Pros could come either in June at WWDC or later this year in fall. The biggest problems have been the butterfly-switch key design and the lack of an USB Type A port. Many people are wondering what does Apple have in store for MacBook. However, according to DigiTimes, the processor upgrade will be the only update.

Design: A bezel-free MacBook?

According to Apple’s best and worst brands report, MacBook’s design is more of a downfall rather than a significant feature. The single problem a bezel-free design would have is the webcam position but other systems have already succeeded in shrinking the bezels while keeping the webcam in place (Dell XPS 13).

Keyboard: Getting rid of the butterfly-switch key design?

This type of keyboard design has been considered fragile and sometimes difficult to write properly – having to press multiple times on certain keys. Unfortunately, it isn’t bound to happen. However, Apple is working on a crumb-resistant keyboard.

The processor: The biggest obstacle

Apple will invest in Intel’s 8th Generation processors from which a quad-core Lake Kaby Lake R Core i5 or Core i7 is the most obvious choice. This would increase performance and double the number of cores. The second option is the Intel’s Kaby Lake G CPU with AMD Radeon Vega processors with a better graphic for Photoshop users, gaming and movie editing. Apple usually uses AMD’s graphics over Nvidia’s so Apple would choose the second.

Regarding chips, Apple would be ahead of its competitors and would fix their problems if the company adopted 10nm chips.  Intel has launched Cannon Lake but there are a few laptops with this CPU. This would support more RAM at lower power than the current CPU, maybe a reason why Apple didn’t choose an option with 32 GB RAM.
