Waze Beta Version Comes With Built-in Music Player With Support For Eight Music Streaming Services

At the beginning of this month, Google announced the launch of the new version of Google Maps which, among all its new features, came out with a music player integrated into the application itself. Now, the latest Waze beta version launched for both iOS and Android operating systems and includes a built-in music player with support for a total of eight different services.

As confirmed by the Waze team, the built-in player available in the new Waze beta application will work with Spotify, Deezer, iHeart Radio, NPR One, Pandora, Scribd, Stitcher, and TuneIn. However, not all the before-mentioned platforms are compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems.

To enjoy the new feature all you have to do is to connect one of the before-mentioned services to the Waze new built-in music player.

Waze app implemented a music player that supports eight music streaming services

Thanks to the integration of the new built-in music player in the Waze app, the users of the application will now be able to enjoy their favorite songs, podcasts or audiobooks without leaving aside the potential of the application’s navigation system, which will continue to show addresses and alerts.

As impressive as this new feature is, unfortunately, Apple Music or Google Play Music users will not be able to take advantage of the new Waze feature, at least for the time being.

At this point, keep in mind the new feature is only available within the Waze beta version, recently rolled out for both iOS and Android operating systems. That means that the new functionality is still under testing, but, if everything goes alright, it won’t take long until we’ll see the Waze built-in music player available in the full version. Also, Waze confirmed that the new feature would be released in the upcoming weeks.

Asus ZenFone 6 Leaks Revealed The Hideous Notch Ever Seen

Users’ opinions on notches are mixed. Some think they all look unsightly, while others believe that notches are looking alright. Well, at least all those notches are centered on the top part of the smartphones’ front side. However, recent Asus ZenFone 6 leaks revealed the hideous notch ever seen on a smartphone.

The Asus ZenFone 6 leaks, published online by Slashleaks on its official web page, showed that the upcoming Asus flagship’s notch is offset to the right looking terrible and making many Asus fans wondering why the company opted for such an unsightly notch position.

However, some people praised the Asus’ decision since it’s a smaller notch in comparison with others we can find on modern-day devices. While we have to take these leaks with a salt of grain, we must also take into account that the images are just of a prototype of the upcoming Asus ZenPhone 6. Thus, the final ZenFone 6 design might be different.

Asus ZenFone 6 Leaks Revealed The Hideous Notch Ever Seen

Possibly, Asus wanted to reduce the size of the notch, but why would the engineers move the notch to the right? The idea was to increase the screen-to-body ratio but to move the notch to the right makes it impossible to ignore when playing games or watching videos which might be annoying.

Even though the screen would look larger, there is a thicker bottom lip below the display without boasting front speakers like the Google Pixel 3 XL. Thus, the smaller notch moved to the right the Asus ZenFone 6 boasts, is practically useless.

As for the Asus ZenFone 6 specs, according to the latest rumors, the device would boast a triple-camera setup on its back and a fingerprint sensor right in the center of the back case. Therefore, despite what some fans expected, Asus ZenFone 6 won’t come out with an in-display fingerprint reader.
