New LG 88-inch TV Is The World’s First 8K OLED TV Set, And Will Launch During The IFA 2018 in Berlin

While the majority of the people are still moving from older TV sets to the newer ones which boast 4K resolutions and LED technology, LG presented its new 88-inch OLED TV set with an 8K resolution, which is the world’s first 8K OLED TV. The South Korean company made its presentation right before the start of the IFA 2018 which will be held in Berlin, Germany, between August 31st and September 5th.

Many consider the LG displays to be the best in the world, especially when it comes to TVs. However, this new 88-inch OLED screen boasting an 8K LG has just presented is designed to set the future standards in terms of TV technology. Also, LG has made a clear demonstration of its power in the television set sector of the industry.

The new LG television features 33 million self-illuminating pixels that achieve the recognized “pure black” status of OLED panels. The company expects to increase its sales in 2018 and sell more than 9 million OLED TVs with an 8K resolutions by 2022.

With the new 88-inch OLED TV set with an 8K resolution, the giant South Korean manufacturer, LG, reaches a new level in the Ultra-Premium TV sets field and means to take the lead of the future markets.

LG IA ThinQ will get Google Assistant by the end of 2018

After the launch of this world’s first 8K OLED TV during the IFA 2018 which would start on August 31st, LG plans to show that it deserves to take the lead of the market for OLED TVs, by launching its new first 88-inch TV.

On the other hand, the second flagship LG plans on launching is the new LG IA ThinQ TV 2018. So, as if the LG 88-inch OLED TV set with an 8K resolution was not enough for the South Korean company, LG announced another big surprise. Namely, by the end of 2018, the LG IA ThinQ TV sets would receive an update and will add Google Assistant.
