Clash of Clans Winter 2018 Update Available to Download and Play Soon

After a long wait Clash of Clans fans can finally get a peak at the new items which will come this December within the Winter 2018 update. According to recent information, three new items are on their way and two of them are magic items.

The news was made public on December 3rd, but it wasn’t such a big surprise, because everybody was anticipating this move. Although it was initially called December 2018 update, now the event received a more suggestive name – “Winter 2018”. It’s easier to remember that you have to get new items in Clash of Clans once you know the seasons which will bring them!

Clash of Clans developers, Supercell, are expecting to have a successful event. However, they know that fans need a little ”appetizer” before tasting a delicious event like the Winter 2018 update. In this idea, they decided to kick off and gave us a teaser. Thus, we found out that gamers will discover three new items within the improved version of Clash and Clans: the Winter 2018 obstacle and two other magic items.

Generally, the cold season update should include special obstacles which give the user a lot of Gold when they are removed. For example, this year, players who want to get the Christmas obstacle will have to pay 25,000 Gold, but will receive 75,000 if they clear it.

Of course, the new version of Clash of Clans comes with many surprises, special offers and rewards. If you are curious to see what it brings, you should download it as soon as it appears. Don’t forget to try all the new items, because they seem to be the main attraction in the Winter 2018 update. It’s all happening this month, so stay tuned!

Clash of Clans: How To Solve The Screen Sensitivity Issue

Several Clash of Clans have reported sensitivity issues. According to the complaints that have appeared on forums, troops don’t deploy when users tap the screen. It takes around three taps to finally deploy the troops.

The same issues occur everywhere in the game, when players arrange their main base, their builder base, and when they collect resources. Nonetheless, this problem becomes more serious during wars and attacks as it can ruin the strategy of a player. Some users even sent their phone to the service centre, but there were no problems with the device.

How to solve the issue?

There is no official fix for this problem yet. Nonetheless, one user suggested one possible solution. You need to activate the “Developer Mode” first. Once you do that, select the “Developer Settings” tab and enable Cursor and touch location. You need to make sure that your device is 100% responsive. You can do that by looking out for the cursor, and make sure that it shows up when you touch a building in the game.

As long as the cursor is only missing in Clash of Clans, it means that the issue is caused by the game. However, if it happens to other applications as well you might have a problem with your screen. You can start by removing your screen protector, and if the problem continues to exist, you might need to change your display.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Clash of Clans could also help you get rid of the issue. Sadly, there is no official response for this issue and we have to wait until Supercell comes with a solution for this problem. If this issue is something that persists we might receive a fix for it in an upcoming update.

Clash of Clans December Update New Leaks and Magic Items

Supercell has announced on the official game forums that the December update is almost complete and it will soon become available. A specific date wasn’t provided but the developer mentioned some of the features and changes that will be introduced.

One of the major changes affects the way in which Magic Items stacks. After the update is installed users will not be able to store Magic Items beyond the established limit after they complete an in-game event. After reaching the full capacity users will receive a warning which notes that they do not have enough space in order to store the Magic Item. If they want to store it they will have to use or sell one of the Magic Items that is currently in their inventory.

You can wait until the end of the event before you claim the item since a button will allow you to easily collect the Magic Item when you have enough free space.

Supercell also teased new magic items and other interesting features that will be announced in the following days.

The last major update for Clash of Clans was released earlier in October. It introduced a new game mode called Clan War Leagues and the community quickly embraced it. The mode is comprised of a series of competitive leagued divided into seasons. Each season lasts for one month and competing Clans have the chance to fight their way to higher tiers and earn valuable rewards like League Medals. Those League Medals can be spent in the League Shop in order to acquire a variety if rewards, including Magic Hammers.

Magic Hammers allow players to instantly skip the time required in order to finish an upgrade for a unit or a building.

Supercell is loved by players because it manages to integrate new items without breaking the game or making them overpowered. The December update will also add a host of quality-of-life features.

Clash of Clans Strategies: Important Things to Remember

Clash of Clans is full of strategies and tactics that can help you in getting to the next level. We chose some of them to write this article about:

Dark Elixir Bank

From the moment when the housing space for Wallbreakers increases to the 2 level, you could see the Dark Elixir Troops found their way to the game, with Dark Elixir Barracks. When you upgrade the troops to their highest level, you can bank over 3k Dark Elixir, but even if you’re at a lower level, you could get some liquid. However, be careful, cause farming this elixir is not that easy, so you need to protect everything that you can.

In case they quit…

…and you find abandoned villages, you should know you have found gold. They’re super fun and they also represent the most important part of farming – it’s quite a good strategy. There are many hints – obvious or more subtle. You need to get to know them all to search them in those 30 seconds worth of free inspection time. You can find resources that would look best with you and they’re probably from the collectors, which you now that are easy to get.

Look for:

Tombstones. This is a sign that someone else has drilled the base, and that traps have been sprung. Some of the chiefs may leave them in order to trick you, but we’re not so sure about that.

League badge. Those of the players who had at least on the win in the last two weeks league will have a League Badge. You’ll see when a new League starts, since your own Badge will be blank, with a dotted line. If you see villages that don’t have a league badge, it means that they don’t attack, or win. Which means they’re not active in the game.

Sleeping builders. This game is all about upgrading things – and they do get upgraded, but very slow. So it might be unusual to see an active player that does not have builders busy. You need to look for the “zzz” placed above the builder’s hut. If they’re all asleep, it means that the chief has been gone for a really long time.

How To Have Successful Clash of Clans Attacks With Low Level Heroes

Heroes are incredibly helpful during Clash of Clans attacks. They are powerful and you can use them in multiple attacks, as long as you wait for them to recharge. However, one disadvantage is that it is quite expensive to upgrade heroes, and you need to use dark elixir for that.

Meanwhile, the difference between high level heroes and low level ones is a major once. A maxed out hero for example, has almost twice the damage than one that is at level 20. This means that a hero can determine the outcome of an attack.

The Queen Walk

While maxed out heroes are preferable, it is not simple to get them to that level. If you have the Archer Queen at a lower level you might want to use the Queen Walk. This attack strategy means that you send the Archer Queen surrounded by 4 or 5 healers. The Queen will be able to survive a lot longer and it will destroy a big portion of the base. Once you are done with that stage, you can pull out the rest of the heroes to clean the rest.

However, in order to manage the Queen Walk, you will need to have an Archer Queen that is at least at level 30. If you do the Queen Walk with an Archer Queen that has a lower level, you need to pay more attention to the game. You will have to keep an eye on her health and use Rage Spells in order to help her continue her attack.

Recommended upgrades

When you are upgrading your Town Hall you should make sure that your Heroes are at the right level. For example, before you upgrade to Town Hall level 10, you should make sure that your Heroes are at least at level 15.
