Clash of Clans – The Attack Strategy Everyone Needs to Learn

The reason why Clash of Clans managed to keep its popularity over the years is that there are hundreds of strategies that players can use. Even though Clash of Clans can be played by anyone, the game is super complex and the difference between a good player and a great player is the strategies that they use. With that being said, today we are going to present players with the most effective attack strategy which is going to help them get a higher rank.

Barbarians and Archers

The most essential attack strategy that all Clash of Clans players need to learn is the barbarians and archers one. These are two of the most basic troops that Clash of Clans have access to and despite their simplicity, they can prove to be quite useful. Clash of Clans players want to recruit as many barbarians and archers as they can and then pair them up with a couple of wall breakers to clear up the path.

Cost Efficient

The best thing about this attack strategy is that it is cost-efficient. If you ever played Starcraft, then you probably heard about “zerg rush”. The barbarians and archers strategy is fairly similar to “zerg rush” because it is cost-efficient and players can use it right from the start of the game.

Collectors Loot

Another great thing about this attack strategy is that it can be used to obtain loot from collectors. Clash of Clans players should be happy to know that they can take all the loot from collectors by only using five or ten barbarians and archers.

Simple to Use

Clash of Clans was originally launched back in 2012, and this means that there is a big learning curve between veteran players and newer ones. Fortunately, the barbarians and archers strategy is simple to use and everyone can give it a try without having to device complicated paths or attack routes.

Clash of Clans’ Town Hall 12 Newest Update Brings Bug Fixes

A few days ago, the new Town Hall 12 update of Clash of Clans was revealed. Now, thanks to a post on Supercell’s forum, we are able to review all the balance changes that are included in the update.

Similar to all defenses in Clash of Clans, Town Hall 12 has five different levels that change as you start gaining experience in the game. The balance adjustments that will be implemented can be divided into three main categories: fixing exploits, buffing troops that were underused, increasing rewards and loot. Also, the most important gameplay change is hidden into the patch notes. It looks like upgrading the levels of the game now requires players to place the buildings. This will make it very hard for the manipulation of war weight needed for engineering bases to be accomplished.

As we know by now, Supercell doesn’t like to spoil anything for their fans, most probably because they have various things to work on in the same time and they want to make sure they reveal only final ideas regarding update changes. However, one thing has been already confirmed. It seems that we will get more than one update this year, maybe as much as three or four of them.

The first big update was expected to launch in the first half of the year, so we should have some official news soon.

What has been unsatisfactory for most players up until this point, is the situation with Clan Wars, as engineered bases can handle much higher adversaries than their war weight. So we do hope to see some significant changes made by Supercell when it comes to the matchmaking queues for engineered and non-engineered bases.

You can download Clash of Clans on iOS and Android. We do not have an official release date for the Town Hall 12 update yet, but hopefully, it will be announced not far from now.

Best Alternatives to Clash of Clans Available to Download

Released in 2012 for iOS and in 2013 for Android, Clash of Clans is a strategy game developed by Supercell. Since then, it gained quite some popularity and positive reviews amongst users, while being viewed as a simple, yet demanding game. For all the dedicated fans who enjoy testing their skills using COC, we have some alternatives that you may want to check out.

Boom Beach

Also developed by Supercell, this game will offer you a change of scenery. You’ll be taken to a group of tropical islands set in modern times and you’ll command one of them. Training your soldiers and attacking enemies will be amongst your duties.

Call of Duty: Heroes

Compared to COC, in this game there is no cross-hair involved. Here you’ll need to use skills that you’ve developed in COC to create bases in a strategic way. Your responsibility will be not only to create a base, but also to command an elite group of soldiers.

Jungle Heat

If you’re in need of a different scenery, but you still want to stay within the familiar gameplay, then Jungle Heat: War of Clans is the perfect choice for you. It’ll take you to the jungle full of colors, set in a dynamic background.

Star Wars: Commander

If you’re a Star Wars fan, then you might want to try out this game. You’ll be offered a choice to command either the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire.

Plants vs. Zombies 2

Unlike COC, this game is not as demanding when it comes to strategy. The big plus is that you can use it to unwind, since it’s easy to navigate and offers a lot of fun. Your main duty will be to protect your lawn against zombies by using different configurations of plants.

Total War Battles: Kingdom

This game developed by SEGA has quite engaging graphics that stand out amongst competition. You’re in charge of your own kingdom, while being responsible for the development of the land.

Castle Clash

If you’re searching for a game as similar as possible to COC, then Castle Clash: Brave Squads is one of the best choices that you could stumble upon. In this game developed by IGG, you’ll be responsible for the fortification of your village, while defending it against enemies. The gameplay is more challenging in Castle Clash compared to COC.

Clash of Clans Update Town Hall 12 – The Game’s First Weaponized Town Hall

Clash of Clans was originally launched in 2012 and the game has managed to keep its popularity along the years. The thing that keeps players coming back for more even after so many years is the fact that Supercell, the game’s developer, keeps releasing updates that include new content, features and software tweaks.

Clash of Clans Town Hall 12

The Clash of Clans community has been speculating that the next update Supercell is going to launch will introduce the highly anticipated Town Hall 12 and to everyone’s surprise, it seems like the community was right! Supercell recently published a short video teaser on YouTube where it announced that players should be ready to receive Town Hall 12.

Weaponized Town Hall

While the details about the new town hall are scarce, we do know that it’s going to be the first weaponized Town Hall in the game. In fact, the video teaser starts with the announcer saying that the town hall has always been a place of peace, but not anymore.

Electricity Defense System

Supercell has been doing a great job of keeping details about the new Town Hall a secret so that it can use the element of surprise when the official update is rolled out to everyone. However, this isn’t stopping the community from speculating about how the new town hall will be able to attack enemies.

The main theory is that Town Hall 12 will feature a special electricity defense system which will throw out splash damage. This is great news for Clash of Clans fans because it means that their new Town Hall will be able to destroy standard units such as Barbarians and Archers.

Changed Aesthetics

Lastly, the coolest thing about the new Town Hall is the fact that it changes aesthetics as players progress through the game. We know from a leak that there will be five levels of the Town Hall and that all of them will look amazing.

Clash of Clans Tips – Essential Defense Building Strategies

Many people thought that Clash of Clans was going to be a “one hit wonder” mobile game, but Clash of Clans proved everyone wrong by staying on top of the industry since 2012 when it was originally launched. The reason why Clash of Clans managed to stay relative after so many years is because the game received constant updates and because the gameplay is complex.

A great example of how complex Clash of Clans can be is the way players strategize about which is the best way to build bases, or which is the best way to attack. Talking about Clash of Clans strategies, today we are going to show readers the best way that they can set up their bases in order to make their fortress impossible to break.

The Pocketed Base

Most people love to spread out their bases and make them look like a real town, but this is not how you win in Clash of Clans. A great alternative to that type of standard base is the Pocketed Base strategy. Players are advised to place their town hall in the center of the base and then surround it with splash defenses and a 4×4 wall. This strategy will make giant useless because they will take a lot of time avoiding the walls.

The Bulkhead Base

Moving on to more advanced strategies, veteran Clash of Clans should consider using the Bulkhead Base strategy. The main rule of this strategy is to kick un-needed buildings outside the walls and then add extra walls between those buildings. This strategy will also render giants useless.

Now that the base has been segmented by wall defenses, Clash of Clans players need to place bulkheads in large boats because it will prevent the base from sinking if a leak below the waterline starts flooding.
