Clash Of Clans June Update Incoming: What To Expect?

After so many new challenges and quests in Clash of Clans, we’re all getting ready to welcome the Clash Of Clans June Update which will bring a new magic item called “The Research Potion” and a few more changes to the league shot, the magic hammers, as well as some balance changes that will be announced this week.

Let’s see what to expect from the Clash of Clans June Update!

A New Magic Item Introduced

The Clash of Clans team announced in a blog post the new item called The Research Potion. It’s a magic item that is said to be “the culmination of Wizardly and Goblin alchemical experimentation.”

The story behind this potion is rather… impressive, as the ‘researchers’ have concocted it by pure mistake:

“They got a telescope, a microscope, an oscilloscope, and a stethoscope and did approximately 45 minutes of hard molecular and arcane science. After a rather loud and ominous explosion, the Research Potion was the accidental result of these…efforts.”

The Research Potion will be released with the June Update and players can use it tospeed up your Lab Research times by 10x for an hour.”

Other Changes: League Shop, Magic Hammers

With the June Update, players will see some changes in the League Shop, including these three items that will be available for different costs:

  • Training Potions for 10 League Medals
  • Research Potions cost 20 League Medals
  • Builder Potions cost 30 League Medals.

Because the Magic Hammers are too powerful, the Clash of Clans team has decided to put a 7-day cooldown on all Magic Hammers.” If you buy a Magic Hammer in the League Shop, you can only buy one again after 7 days when the cooldown ends. If you buy a Hammer of Heroes you cannot buy another one for 7 days, but you can buy another type of Hammer.

We’ll be right back with some more news including balance updates for Clash of Clans.

Remember we also have a lot of tricks and tips for Clash of Clans, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars.

Clash of Clans April Update: Hidden Changes Revealed

Eagle-eyed Clash of Clans players might have noticed some other changes in the game that were brought by the April update. Those that didn’t check out the new things introduced by the Supercell CoC developer team are going to be in for a treat! Today we will not talk about all the spring update changes and features (you can check them out here).

We will focus on several hidden and small changes that cannot be easily noticed.

Some 3D Heroes

We learned that the hero skins introduced with the Clash of Clans Season Challenges have also brought 3D Heroes so that the devs can easily develop many skins in the future. But at a closer look, you will see that some Heroes are not in 3D yet!

Notice the Grand Warden? Don’t worry; he’ll get a 3D look soon in a future update.

No More Naps!

Our Heroes would take a nap to regenerate the health. Now they’ve changed it into a different stance: they take the knee! Is it because we’re getting close to the Game of Thrones season? Maybe, maybe not. Nonetheless, I believe it’s a much more appropriate way to show that the hero is taking a break.

Tap on the Queen

If you tap on the Queen, she will wave at you! That’s cute…

The visual for the Barbarian King and Archer Queen will not change when you upgrade them anymore, because of the 3D model. This makes it a little difficult to differentiate their levels.

Dark Clouds

To activate this feature, you must go to Preferences -> More Setting – > Use Dark Clouds. The Cloud Fix (Operation Blue Skies) is scheduled for the first half of this year.

A New Rank: Clan War League

There’s a new tab with a rank – Clan War League, which will soon be added to the game.

League Medals Rewards limit was increased to 2.500.

Finally, to get more suggestions from the Builder Suggestions tab, scroll down and see what other upgrades you have available.

That would be all with the spring update for Clash of Clans.

If you haven’t updated the game yet, make sure you do it by using either Google Play or if you want the Clash of Clans APK file, head over to APK Mirror and look for Clash of Clans 11.446.15 APK file – which was uploaded on April 4 by Supercell.

Clash of Clans New Levels And More To Come in The Next Update

April is getting closer, and we can all agree that we’ve been waiting for a few more major changes. Looking back at the past announcements from the Clash of Clans team on new prices and times balancing, we figured out that the team was preparing to introduce new levels.

The costs were lowered and so was the time on many buildings, troops, and defenses, but it was only a boon for low TH players. Now those that have maxed TH will be able to enjoy this next update… if they have the gold.

Clash of Clans Patch Notes for Incoming Update

First, bear in mind that the following patch notes are just a part of what will come in the next update. The team at Clash of Clans teases us in the end, saying that we should “stay tuned for one last piece of news that will be revealed in a couple of days!”

Until we get that last news – which should be very important – let’s check out the short version of the patch notes on the Clash of Clans blog:

New Building Levels

  • Archer Tower level 17: Upgrade cost: 12,000,000 Gold / Upgrade time: 12d / DPS: 122 / HP: 1430
  • Cannon level 17: Upgrade cost: 12,000,000 Gold / Upgrade time: 12d / DPS: 132 / HP: 1740

New Troop Levels

The team explains that the previous in-game economy changes for troops had focused the Witch levels starting at TH10 because will add a new level to the Witch at TH12. Hog Rider and Ice Golem will also get a new level:

  • Witch Level 5: Laboratory Level 10 / Upgrade cost: 200,000 Dark Elixir / Upgrade time: 14d  / DPS: 180 / HP: 480 / Training cost: 275 Dark Elixir / Max summoned units: 14 / Training time: 3m
  • Hog Rider Level 9: Laboratory level 10 / Upgrade cost: 240,000 Dark Elixir / Upgrade time: 14d / DPS: 161 / HP: 920 / Training cost: 120 Dark Elixir / Training time: 45s
  • Ice Golem Level 5: Laboratory level 10 / Upgrade cost: 200,000 Dark Elixir / Upgrade time: 14d / DPS: 40 / HP: 3400 / Training cost: 300 Dark Elixir / Freeze time when destroyed: 7 seconds / Training time: 3m

Game Balancing

Moreover, the team is adding some more balancing to the Ice Golem’s Freeze Spell, to the Tornado Trap, the Wall Breakers and Bomb Trap.

Builder Base is also getting some changes, focusing on the Giant Cannon and the Battle Machine.

Quality of Life Improvements

Players will get a dark mode to the multiplayer matchmaking screen, a setting that can be enabled from Settings -> More Settings -> Use Dark Clouds in Home Village.

Later this week will get that last piece of news the team is teasing, so stay tuned for more updates.

Clash of Clans Update – The Bat Spell and January Changes

Clash of Clans will be seven years old this year but the game has remained popular among many smartphone users around the world.

The hit game offers a slick mixture of strategy and online interaction that makes it easy to play but hard to master. With a wealth of units available, there are several combinations that will help you to raise your starting kingdom to a glorious destiny.

Unlike other companies, Supercell is constantly improving the game by releasing consistent updates that add new and exciting features.

Below you can find the changes brought by the latest balance update and more information about the new content that was added in the December update.

The January update

It seems that the January update will be quite minimalistic. While the Bat Spell was nerfed by the previous update many players continued to say that it is overpowered. Supercell decided to nerf the spell again in order to satisfy the community.

The spell will now spawn a smaller number of bats per each level. The delay until the first attack takes place has been increased to 1.5 seconds, up by 0.5 seconds. The damage has remained unchanged for now. Below you can see how the number of bats was changed:

Level 1: 7 (initially 10)

Level 2: 9 (initially12)

Level 3: 11 (initially 14)

Level 4: 16 (initially18)

Level 5: 21 (initially22)

December changes

The spell was also changed in December when the number of bats was decreased for the first time.

The Stone Slammer was also changed during the same update. While the damage multiplayer was increased to 25x (it was 15x at first) the splash damage would decrease on par with the distance at which the target is situated (more damage if the target is closer). The HP of the unit was also nerfed in order to make it easier to kill.

The Ice Golem was also introduced in this update but the unit has remained unchanged for now.

Clash of Clans is Currently Under Maintenance for Fixing a Bug from the Optional Update

November 2nd was an important day for Clash of Clans players. The optional update was released and fans were very enthusiastic about it. The version, called League Medals, promised to add 50 Medals to the total amount of each player who wanted to update. Instead, a bug prevented the update to properly function and set the Medal’s value to 50.

The bug was immediately reported by users and announced on Twitter

Developers gave the update a lot of attention since the initial version missed Tutorial League Medals. The part released on November 2nd fixed this flaw, but unfortunately, the improved version came with the bug previously mentioned.

Many users were affected by this situation, so Clash of Clans developers announced that maintenance is required for successfully solving the issue. Their next step was to declare that the game is under maintenance starting from the same day when the update was released – November 2nd.

The information was made public through the game’s Twitter channel after many players complained about the bug. Developers added that they are working on solving the matter and apologized for the inconvenience. Since Clash of Clans is still under maintenance, we can conclude that they still haven’t managed to fix the bug.

The optional update promised to bring many improvements

Version 111.49.9 was expected to bring some interesting changes:

  • It removed the Halloween loading screen and, next to it, the themed music and obstacles appearing mode;
  • Improvements for the iPhone RX mode;
  • A bug noticed on iOS 12 was fixed;
  • During Tutorial Medals, players get 50 medals if they complete the CWL tutorial.

Once it’s fixed, the update will be available in Café Bazaar and Google Play. Soon, we will get to see it in other app stores as well.
