Elder Scrolls 6 Could Boast Advanced, Realistic Graphics

Elder Scrolls franchise enjoys a loyal fan base, and many gamers are looking forward to the next entry in the series. Elder Scrolls 6 is still in the early stages, but Bethesda has decided to show a few glimpses of the technology which is used for the new title and how it can mark a significant improvement for the franchise.

During PAX East 2019 Bethesda noted that photogrammetry would be employed in the development of upcoming titles. Photogrammetry is used to scan real-world landmarks and people, and the data collected can be converted to accurate 3D models which add a layer of realism.
Many have started to question Bethesda’s stubbornness to use a modified game engine which is a bit old. The latest reveal may alleviate some of these worries since it proves that Bethesda is interested in delivering new video games which look better.

It was also announced that Bethesda would use the same technology to immortalize Shirley Curry, a well-known YouTube content creator who is known as the Skyrim Grandma. She will appear as a featured NPC in Elder Scrolls 6 and players will have a chance to interact with her.

Elder Scrolls 6 Might Feature Advanced Graphics

The announcement that Elder Scrolls 6 will use photogrammetry has been well-received by many aren’t sure if they can trust the studio. Bethesda lost a lot of faith when Fallout 76, the first multiplayer title developed by the studio, was released to near-universal disdain from fans and critics alike.

Todd Howard promised that the game would provide a revolutionary experience, but the truth was a bit different. The game was affected by a large number of glitches, the content was uninspired, and the lackluster narrative setting disappointed a high number of people. Fallout 76 sales were so weak that the games were heavily discounted in the first weeks and some shops decided to offer it for free if the customer made other purchases.

It remains to be seen if Bethesda will be able to convince fans that it learned from past mistakes with Elder Scrolls 6.

Elder Scrolls 6 – Here Is Everything You Need To Know!

Bethesda confirmed the Elder Scrolls 6, the successor of Skyrim, is under development, at the moment. While not many official details went online about the game, we decided to take all the reliable rumors and news and came up with a short list with everything you need to know about Elder Scrolls 6.

First, let’s clear up a few things, shall we? Elder Scrolls 6 is a so-called “triple-A” game, meaning that Bethesda and everyone working on the game plan to keep the secrecy over the title until the last moment before the release. Accordingly, we won’t be able to get official information about the next installment in the famous Elder Scrolls franchise. At least, not until the game is just about to come out. In the meantime, all we can do is rely on rumors, suggestions, and the announcement trailer that Bethesda released last year.

Elder Scrolls 6 – Here Is Everything You Need To Know!

Elder Scrolls 6 Location

Bethesda released the announcement trailer (see at the end of the article) with a puzzle for the fans of the series. Accordingly, Todd Howard from the games studio said that the teaser contains some clues about where the action in Elder Scrolls 6 would take place. The gamers accepted the challenge.

Accordingly, one clue in the trailer, revealing some rocks highly elevated from the ground, might indicate that Elder Scrolls 6 might take place in High Rock, a segment of Tamriel, the in-game world.

Elder Scrolls 6 Might Be Named “Redfall”

A recent legal dispute between sci-fi author Jay Falconer and ZeniMax Media (worked with Bethesda at the Elder Scrolls Online) revealed that the company tried to patent the name “Redfall.” Since there is no Elder Scrolls title called like that, the fans believe that the plan was to name the next title in the series Elder Scrolls 6: Redfall.

Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date

In June 2018, during E3, Todd Howard, Bethesda’s boss, said the Elder Scrolls 6 was in pre-production at that time. Now, taking into account that an RPG as significant as a new title in the Elder Scrolls franchise would take years of work, it would be wise not to expect Elder Scrolls 6 anytime soon. In the meantime, why not get a powerful gaming rig from gaming pc to better prepare yourself.

Besides, Bethesda is also working on a brand new RPG, Starfield. So, we assume that we won’t see the new Elder Scrolls 6 coming out in the next two years or so.

Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield – What Happens to These Games

The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield were announced by Bethesda back at E3 2018 in June, but various publishers and developers of the games did not provide any information, so that makes us think of one question.

Will their release remains a mystery or will we receive some information later?

These titles made their way into many discussions, and it is not the end of the 2019’s first month yet. If you are a fan of these Bethesda RPG’s, then there is some bad and good news for you.

To begin with, industry analyst of Wedbush Securities, Michael Pachter decided that it was time to have a conversation with GamingBold and he claims that the apparent failings of Fallout 76 this past holiday will not hamper the games.

He explained that there would be no risks to any single player games that will come in the future. That is also the single game he did not play from the Fallout series, and he does not plan to either due to the poor reviews it received. This can be considered by people a blip.

Pachter has offered another prediction as a wider Industry piece from GamesIndustry.biz, and the above one follows. The site contacted several profile analysts to make sure what will be talked about in 2019.

Pachter always comes with predictions but one for this year says that we should expect a release date for Elder Scrolls 6.

However, someone from Gamesrader says that there is a list of “Many, Many Reasons Why” 2019 will not be the year of Elder Scrolls 6’ launch.

If you do not know what to believe, neither do we, which means that we all should wait for more information and maybe something official will be announced.

Elder Scrolls 6 Update – Further Information and Leaks

The name for Elder Scrolls 6 might have just been trademarked by Bethesda. On 10th of September, the parent company behind all releases from Bethesda, ZeniMax, filed a new trademark for “Redfall.” All we know is that the filing is for a “computer game software for use with computers and video game consoles” and nothing else.

This clue might not lead to an Elder Scrolls 6 title as random ideas and names are trademarked by companies every time they have new intellectual property. The only official announcement we have heard about is the one at E3 which assured us that the game is being worked on. Aside from that, Bethesda said nothing else “Redfall” related. When the company held its QuakeCon event, we hoped for receiving some further information, but that did not happen either.

The fifth Elder Scrolls game, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, looks like it is keeping its popularity and it was itself trademarked as a single name. The first trademark created for ES5 was Skyrim, and nobody says “Redfall” will not follow the same style. Starfield is the upcoming release from Bethesda, and it was also discovered by trademark filing, so this should be the reason why we are so sure about them.

Some speculators from Reddit has also been thinking that the fill might have something to do with a race of highly-skilled warriors from Hammerfell, the Redquards.

Even though the Redfall trademark is related or not, fans are still excited to receive further information and news regarding Elder Scrolls 6. They might receive what they want during The Game Awards event or an E3 event, but that remains to be seen. We should at least be happy to know that the game is being worked on and we only need to wait for it to be finished.
