Forza Horizon 4 PC aims for 60 FPS, Willing to go Beyond Ultra Settings

As Forza Horizon 3 did not too long ago, the 4th version will be coming to the PC platform as well. You might ask yourself what the change will be. Well, this time the game targets 60 FPS on the PC and because the studio noted that the PC version will attempt to go beyond ultra settings, we expect the 4th game to be better from a visual point of view than Forza Horizon 3.

Playground Games has let us know the system requirements for Forza Horizon 4 and apparently, it will be aimed at 60 FPS instead of 30 FPS, which definitely wasn’t the case for the 3rd game of the franchise. However, the studio noted there will be more graphical settings available for Forza Horizon 4 which will make the settings go ultra on PC. This will require that you will have a strong PC on your hands.

“We’re now basing our recommended spec on 60 frames per second and not 30, which is a change from Forza Horizon 3. We’re really happy with the stability and performance from launch this time round. And we’ve also got a whole bunch of new options you can push [your PC] to the extreme beyond Ultra, if you’ve got a very powerful PC. And of course we’ve got a load of other options in there, so you can build a view for your cameras, you also have access to the HDR option – the first time on PC for Forza” was what the studio had to say.

The game’s designers didn’t forget about the Xbox One X version of the game as they made sure it will also aim for 60 FPS on this gaming platform as well. So far, the studio didn’t reveal nor confirm the system requirements, although we expect the minimum specs to be lower than those for Forza Horizon 3.
