Samsung Galaxy S10 Displays Scored An Excellent Result At DisplayMate

Samsung smartphones usually feature some of the best display available. The Samsung Galaxy S10 is a great flagship device, and its performance is quite impressive when it comes to the display which received an A+ grade from the well-known display rating organization DisplayMate.

Samsung Galaxy S10 models’ displays score an impressive result at DisplayMate

The same score was also offered to the award-winning Google Pixel 3, but the Samsung device managed to continue the stellar legacy of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 while also outperforming them.

According to a DisplayMate representative, the Samsung Galaxy S10 imposed a new bar for color accuracy and high image contrast accuracy. The peak luminosity level is also more prominent than all the other devices which were previously tested.  S10 displays reach the lowest screen reflectance, among other feats, too.

The organization has also appreciated the support for HDR10+ which means that the device can play 4K HDR content at a native resolution, allowing users to enjoy a great Netflix binge on the go.

Galaxy S10 models are some impressive smartphones with many new features

Samsung has recently released the Galaxy S10 series to critical acclaim as reviewers and consumers alike were impressed by the performance of the new devices. Besides the fabulous display, Samsung added a selection of new and exciting features to the company’s new smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 models can charge other smartphones or smart accessories which are compatible with the wireless charging standard used by the device. The feature is particularly handy if you also opt to buy the brand-new Galaxy Buds, which can use the feature. The battery of the device isn’t big enough to use it as a power bank, but you will be able to help a friend or colleague who forgot to charge their device.

The ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor demands a small learning curve, but the device gets unlocked in a flash. The added security level is also high. The Samsung Galaxy S10 devices come with One UI pre-loaded, and they feature Android Pie, offering a remarkable experience. The Galaxy S10 series seems very successful for the moment, but it remains to be seen if it will be able to generate more revenue in comparison to the Galaxy S9 lineup.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Cancellation Is In The Rumors

Samsung Galaxy S10 is the South Korean company’s anniversary smartphone to celebrate ten years of Galaxy S series. However, Samsung has confirmed the cancellation of Samsung Galaxy S10 feature. That information popped up thanks to a Forbes article written by Gordon Kelly.

“This week Samsung gave users a glimpse into the future of its smartphone design, and it features an all-new bezel-less ‘punch hole’ Infinity-O display and the end of the headphone jack,” said Gordon Kelly from Forbes.

“The Infinity-O display is the breaking news attributes of the recently released Samsung Galaxy A8s. “Its arrival also follows earlier reports that Samsung planned to remove the headphone jack from the Galaxy Note 10 and was now “toying” with pulling it from the Galaxy S10 as well. The USB-C port will be left, and a separate conversion jack will be provided for 3.5mm earphone users,” said Kelly, according to sources.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Cancellation Is In The Rumors

The new rumors revealed that the future Galaxy S10 would ditch the 3.5-mm jack, choosing the USB-C port, but, according to recent rumor. ” USB-C will be left, and a separate conversion jack will be provided for 3.5mm earphone users,” as the sources claimed for Forbes.

“Samsung still has enough time to tweak the Galaxy S10 in either direction (it is likely gauging the reaction to the Galaxy A8s as we speak) and leaked cases for the S10 have shown designs both with and without a headphone jack. But this one is clearly going down to the wire,” said Gordon Kelly from the Forbes.

“I suspect Samsung knows this, which is why the Galaxy S10 otherwise comes jampacked with cutting-edge features including the world’s first ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, up to four rear cameras, the option of 5G connectivity and a new entry-level budget model,” Kelly added on Forbes.

New Galaxy S10 Leaks Suggest Four S10 Models And 5G Connectivity

5G is a new field to be conquered by the giants of the smartphone industry. Samsung seems to want to position itself among the first to adopt the new connectivity standard by launching their anniversary Galaxy S10 smartphone with 5G connectivity.

The upcoming 5G seems to be the new challenge which all the tech firms, like Samsung and Huawei, want to address as quickly as possible. And Samsung is no stranger to it if we believe a new leak about the upcoming Galaxy S10 smartphone, which could sign the return of the flat screen, as found by the famous XDA-Developers team.

Keep in mind that anything might change until the new Galaxy S10 hit the shelves, so the final version of the device might not come out with 5G connectivity, eventually.

Samsung Galaxy S10 could boast 5G connectivity, according to the latest leaks made available by XDA-Developers

The XML files from the last update of the Galaxy S9 signal for the presence of not less than four Samsung Galaxy S10 models of the next year. In other words, the South Korean tech giant seems to be counting on a multitude of models for its anniversary flagship. Among these, 5G compatibility could be found, probably in the most expensive model.

These XML files suggest four Galaxy S10 handsets dubbed as Beyond 0, 1, 2 and 2 5G. The latter would also boast the largest screen and would also be equipped with a fingerprint reader under the display. If Samsung is to offer a 5G-compatible model, it would undoubtedly hit the market before or at the same time as Huawei, which seems determined to follow this path after outperforming Apple in the last quarter.

Of course, this information reported by XDA-Developers team should be taken with a grain of salt. However, in the past, the site has been right many times, especially with this method of reading XML files.

New Galaxy S10 Leaks Revealed More Details About Samsung’s Anniversary Smartphone

Galaxy S10 will be the Samsung’s anniversary smartphone to celebrate ten years of the S series, and, with that in mind, the giant South Korean tech company plans to release an excellent phone with lots of features such as a taller display, three-camera system on its back, in-display fingerprint sensor, smoother software updates, 5G connectivity support, a Face ID alternative. Also, new Galaxy S10 leaks revealed more details on the upcoming flagship.

Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known on the Internet as OnLeaks, released some new details about Samsung Galaxy S10. According to him, the Samsung’s anniversary smartphone would be very distinguishable in comparison to the previous models since the South Korean tech company plans on releasing the upcoming flagship in “no less than 9” all-new gradient color schemes.

Samsung also seems confident in this decision, hoping to boost sales, following the example of other manufacturers, such as Huawei and other Chinese smartphones producers.

New Galaxy S10 leaks revealed that the next Samsung’s anniversary smartphone would come out in 9 all-new gradient color schemes

Last week, Samsung Mobile Division CEO DJ Koh teased Chinese media stating that the upcoming Galaxy S10 device would boast “amazing colors.” Now, according to OnLeaks (Steve Hemmerstoffer), Samsung plans to release Galaxy S10 in  9 all-new gradient color schemes. That’s precisely what Chinese smartphones already showed off for almost a year, now.

Above all, OnLeaks also announced that Samsung is getting closer to release the PVT (product validation testing) for its Galaxy S10. Accordingly, Galaxy S10 final build is just around the corner. If the variant to be proposed soon by the South Korean tech company passes its PVT phase, then that would be the final model which would be mass produced.

Needless to say, Samsung wants to offer more options of its customers by releasing Galaxy S10 in 9 all-new gradient color schemes, aiming to boost sales, following the example of Huawei, other Chinese smartphones, and, since recently, Apple which also launched its new iPhone XR model in not less than six color schemes.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Radical Upgrade Revealed Accidentally

The upcoming Galaxy S10 is a big deal for Samsung as it represents the 10th-anniversary device. Yes, indeed, Samsung’s Galaxy S series turns 10 years old in 2019 and the giant South Korean tech company decided to celebrate that accurately with a high-end Galaxy S handset with an all-new design, a triple camera setup on the back, the brand new ‘ultrasonic’ in-display reader, fast updates and a Face ID-like feature. Now, however, Samsung accidentally revealed a Galaxy S10 radical upgrade.

The renowned tipster Ice Universe was quick to spot a critical design change in the upcoming Galaxy S10 device plus some of its specs thanks to an “anonymous” benchmark test he traced back to Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S10 to boast a high screen-to-body ratio

According to the benchmark test Ice Universe spotted, Galaxy S10 would come with the new 19:9 aspect ratio and a 3,040 x 1,440-pixel display. Samsung S9 and S9 Plus boasted an 18:5:9 ratio and smaller screens.

This would be in line with the latest statements from Samsung according to which the anniversary device will have a more prominent display but without making the handset much larger than its predecessors. The South Korean tech company plans to achieve that by practically eliminating the top and bottom edges.

How was the benchmark test related to Samsung Galaxy S10?

According to Ice Universe, Samsung is commonly codenaming its devices using naming structures like “SM-G4x0” or “SM-G4x5.” The new benchmark test was conducted on a handset dubbed as SM-G405F, so it’s definitely a Samsung smartphone.

You might think that Samsung prefers to keep the secrecy around its work and hide any information from the public until the new handsets would be officially presented. However, they don’t do that, and they prefer leaking some information themselves as they did with Samsung S9 and S9 Plus.

Allegedly, the giant South Korean company does so to contribute to the buzz created online anytime a new flagship smartphone is about to come out.
