Apple Releases iPad Pro 2019 – What Should You Expect?

The release of the device

The next iPad Pro’s arrival is quite an important event as the hype around it, and the expectations keep building. The release date of this device has not been decided yet, but we know that it will be somewhere around early summer and spring. According to a survey, Apple users update their iPhones more than their iPads, and that might happen in the case of the new iPad as well. Apple plans on introducing the newest and best features in this device, so maybe customers will have a reason to update their tablet.

Pricing of the device

Do you worry that being on a budget might keep you from buying the iPad Pro 2019? Well, what we can say is that the price will not be so different from the previous ones of the previous devices due to the changes in the value of the currency and the major fluctuations in the price. Regarding the memory, the 65GB version might not be available, and the iPad will start with the 128GB variant.

Design of the iPad Pro

Apple decided last year that its Pro models need a little bit of change in their designs and this is what they did. Taking into consideration that the redesign has already happened in 2018, you should not expect the 2019 iPad Pro to receive too much of a makeover. As far as this model is concerned, you should not expect significant changes as the company’s conservatism remain high. The previous models of the iPad got the bezels removed, and so they did with the Home button which means that you might recognize these modifications in this year’s version.

Are you excited about the new iPad Pro 2019? Maybe you were waiting for this in order to update your tablet. Make sure you save that money for it.

New iPad Pro 19-inch: What You Need to Know

We all know that the iPad Pro (the 12.9-inch line) costs about $1.899 – that, if you want 1TB worth of storage and LTE. For a Smart Keyboard, you can get to the price of $2,100, and this is how you get a computer, as many Apple fanatics would say.

It’s definitely not cheap, but the scores from Greekbench actually show that the A12X chip, that powers iPad Pro, has multi-core performance that can be comparable to the 2018’s MacBook Pro (the one with 15 inches), that has Intel’s six-core Core i7 chips.

These scores only show the snapshot of the performance that line up with Apple’s claims that iPad will be released this week, and that it will be a major hit when it comes to performance boost – and it will be over the iPad Pro from last year. As Apple says, multi-core tasks are up to 90% faster.

The new A12X iPads from Geekbench have a single-core score of about 5000 and the multi-core score of about 18000. The MacBook Pro has the price of $2,799, and its scores are of 5000 for the single-core and 20000 for the multi-core.

As appeared on the internet, MacBooks also keep an eye on the performance of the A12X iPad, and Apple wants to use its A-series chip for the future Macs – and that is set to happen in 2020.

When talking about RAM

Apple doesn’t really talk about the RAM when it comes it its iOS device specs. However, some source said that iPad Pro with 1TB would get the 6GB worth of RAM, and the iPad Pro with 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB will get the 4GB worth of RAM.

It will have Face ID, and it will include Apple’s Lightning port instead of the USB-C, thing that allows its users to connect to a 5K display.

iOS 13 Concept Render of iPad Pro Shows New Changes and Ideas

We expect the iPad Pro to be unveiled next week, but until then we got a concept render showing how the upcoming tablet would shine.

Imagination

Kevin Eugene, a web developer, produced the design that shows the potential Siri improvements and removal of the home button. In the end, according to him, the tablet could be turned into a multitasking powerhouse.

Change

Eugene published the concept on UX Collective, a Medium blog, and it is based on a redesign referred to as iOS Mogi. He envisioned that, instead of Siri taking up the whole screen, the design will feature an interface capable of sliding in from the right and displays results. This would enable users to keep working and interact with the results, like dragging and dropping a photo into the document they are currently working on, for example.

Rumors becoming reality

The iPad Pro comes with a lot of rumored changes and this idea shows how they could make it more useful. On the 30th of October, in New York, Apple will hold an event during which we expect to see the iPad Pro unveiled. Apparently, it is based on the design of the iPhone X, without a home button, opting for face recognition and a smaller bezel instead.

The current ‘Split View’ could be changed by the swiping interface. From two apps running side-by-side, we will get a ‘flow’ view that allows multiple apps to run side-by-side and the user can move between them by swiping the bottom of the screen.

Flow

This feature will use the bottom bar of the iPhone X as a starting point. Users have to swipe up to go back to the home screen and right to move to recently used apps. The iPad will have the bar becoming a scroll bar.

iPad Pro Leaks Suggest What The Apple October Event Might Hold For Us

According to the recent iPad Pro leaks, emerging online more and more, as the Apple October event gets closer, reveal that the new iPad Pro would look more sophisticated than a tablet. Until now, rumors were talking about an iPad Pro with Face ID, thinner bezels, a new Apple Pen, and 4K HDR support. Designed especially for animators, architects, and designers requiring a fantastic display for their work, the new iPad Pro might feature a compact plasma screen. Yesterday, new renders emerged online showing how the upcoming Apple tablet might look like.

The first of the three CAD images reveals a horizontal iPad Pro with very slim bezels, lower thickness, and no home button, suggesting for the implementation of Face ID.

According to the other two images, the upcoming iPad Pro would be 5.86-millimeters thick, by about 0.3 slimmer than the previous models. Also, the pics confirmed that the new Apple tablet would come in two variants, one with 11-inch screen and another with a 12.9-inch display.

iPad Pro Leaks Suggest What The Apple October Event Might Hold For Us

The recent iPad Pro leaks emerged at first on Twitter, thanks to the leaker Benjamin Geskin, and then they appeared on the SlashLeaks site. A few hours later, the before-mentioned website posted more renders of the upcoming Apple tablet.

The images and the recent rumors on the upcoming iPad Pro suggest for a tablet with slimmer bezels, no home button, and reduced thickness. However, according to other leaks, the future iPad Pro would come with a 10.5-inch display. But all the leaks on the new Apple tablet hint at a device without a notch.

We will find more details about that during the Apple October event which, according to the previous years’ similar events, might take place during the week of October 8 (which is almost over) or October 15.

New iOS 12.1 Seems to Confirm the Incoming iPad Pro

With the recent release of Apple’s iOS 12.1, we were able to learn more about its new edition called Memoji syncing. This, in turn, seems to hint at the inevitable debut of a new iPad with a TrueDepth camera system, which is expected to take place in autumn, this year. Since only iPhone supports Memoji, it would make sense to extend this feature to iPads, allowing users to sync the characters on both devices. But that’s not all, as iOS 12.1 has given us another clue pointing at the imminent release of new iPad models later this year.

iPad 2018 Fall has been observed in the Setup app

The Setup app provides us with some kind of confirmation of the upcoming iPads’ debut at some point in the autumn, as a new identifier “iPad2018Fall” has been found in the assets that the Setup app is using. The reference to the upcoming iPad was missing in the previous version of the app, which only mentioned iPhones of 2018. This clearly shows that Apple wants to teach the future owners of 2018 iPad how to use the new gestures before they even purchase the new device.

What else do we know about the 2018 iPads

This new identifier pretty much confirms the release of new iPads this autumn, most likely in October, when Apple will host an event presenting the new iPads and Macs. The earlier predictions were usually mentioning September as a month when we will finally see new iPads, but now we know that they were not correct.

In addition to the already mentioned Memoji sync feature, the experts expect the introduction of landscape support for Face ID. Moreover, the Pros version of the new iPad will have USB-C connectivity rather than Lightning, according to a recent report.
